i am so glad my wife talked me into getting a copy of kuon years ago for only 12 bucks....

I remember getting Kuon along time ago for like $8 it's crazy how much it's worth now lol

My jaw dropped when I realized I have a handful of these. Blood Will Tell, Haunting Ground, and Kuon sat on the shelves forever; I got them on clearance. ROR was a day 1 pre-order. I never saw those price hikes coming. I really wished I'd bought multiple copies.

Watching these old videos are painful because we used to think these prices were crazy 😢

I remember preordering Meta Gear 3: Subsistence LE and when it came out, the sales associate tried to tell me that they never got it. I persisted and questioned him. He caved in and pulled one from that back that happened to be opened.

They only got in ONE copy and it was my preorder copy that they tried to take for themselves. Lol! Just one of the many interesting stories of my EBGames/GameStop experiences.

Subsistence /səbˈsistəns/ (n.) 1. the action or fact of maintaining or supporting oneself at a minimum level. 2. the state of remaining in force or effect.

"Subsistence" is a real word. I know because I grew up poor.

"You will need a japanse console to play these games"

Well I have a modchip here that says the contrary

Wow, I had no idea Haunting Ground's price had jumped up! I got a copy years ago for like $30

Haunting Ground is a lil cheesy, but it's a great horror game that any PS2 owner should give a try. You form a bond with the canine, and you start worrying about its life, too. I found the dog gameplay interesting, too, you can use your gamepad to give it commands.
Depending on how you treat it, it will refuse to follow your orders. So if you decide to be a horrible master, be prepared to suffer the consequences in the moments where you desperately need the dog's assistance.
