Luckily, thanks to her childhood experience in the fields, Mi calmly handled the situation safely and captured the non-venomous water snake. In return for that heart-stopping moment, her basket full of crabs and the fresh snake became the perfect ingredients for a rustic, countryside feast right by her glowing wood-fired stove.
