Every guy in America had a crush on Linda Ronstadt . Men Women we all loved her and it only grew as she continued her career. She sang everything. A true vocal artist.

Before the Eagles were The Eagles, they were her backup band.

EASILY ONE OF THE BEST VOICES IN THE LAST 100 YEARS ... ANY GENRE !!!

Linda's dad was German-Mexican and her mother was German-English. She grew up in Arizona near the Mexican border. Her Mexican Grandfather was a big influence on her and she grew up singing the Mexican songs he taught her. Her whole family was into music and her dad was actually a big band (swing) leader at one time. Linda is an amazing talent and a master of many musical styles including Rock, Country, Broadway and show tunes, Mexican Folk, Big Band, as well as soft easy listening torch songs. You should check out the albums she did with the Newson Riddle Orchestra. She was the highest paid woman in music at one time and was the most successful Female artist in the 1970's.

Small fact, Glenn Frey and Don Henley of the Eagles were recruited for her band. Before the Eagles were the Eagles

Linda is one of the few singers who can do someone else's song as well or better than the original.  Emmylou Harris is another.

Linda Rondstat one of the best voices of ALL TIME!! Check out Linda and Aaron Neville duet...I Don't Know Much!! Watch the video from the CMA awards years ago!!! OUTSTANDING ❤🎉

Linda was not inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame until after she could no longer perform due to her medical condition preventing her from controlling her vocals well.  Asked what took them so long to induct her,  comments were made that she sang in so many different genres that it was difficult to classify her into the rock genre.  Glenn Frey of the Eagles was the person introducing her to the ceremonial audience and was asked for which genre should Linda receive the HOF award.  His reply was:  "ALL OF THEM"!

"There are two types of men.  Men who have a crush on Linda and men who have never heard of her".. Willie Nelson.

Get in line bro!  When I was in high school every guy had a huge crush on Linda.  She was the hottest female out there, and her voice was pure gold!

You must hear The Trio!

You’re No Good - Linda Ronstadt. Classic

Zero Autotune - this was back when singers had actual talent. I mean there is talent and then there is TALENT - Linda is the latter. This is as good as it gets, folks.

Linda was the biggest selling female vocalist of the 1970's. Source: Cashbox.

The birth of the Eagles came from playing back-up for Linda Ronstadt in 1971 before both acts became hit machines with platinum records and sold-out concerts.

You MUST SEE Smokey and Linda sing this together on the Motown 25th Anniversary.

If you loved this one, you absolutely have to react to her rendition of "Desperado". The Eagles wrote and released it, but (as the story goes) after Glenn Frey heard her do the song he allegedly told her the song was hers from then on. Not sure if that's true, but once you hear her version of it you have to believe there could be some truth in it! Go immediately to "Desperado"!

Linda is the GOAT can't go wrong with ANY song by Linda.

Everything she sings is silk.  Her version of the Stones Tumbling Dice is really good.  You should check out her first hit with The Stone Poneys, Beat of a Different Drum

She was always one of the best at starting soft, growing into a full belt, and then dialing it back again seamlessly. She was also the best at conveying emotion; making you feel the song.
