2013: burning and tnt-ing villages for fun

2020: enslaving the villager population and turning the village into a facist state

i wanna see a mafia boss villager, and get paid emeralds to take out their enemies

It seems like he’s advertising for the villagers. I really wanna trade with them now.

Cubey tweeted this today:

Cubey here, just taking a moment to briefly address my absence for the past

near-three years. For the most part of this period, I've been steering my life

in the wrong direction, and was on a collision course with letting poor habits

result in disingenuous creativity. It's taken some truly remarkable people -

family and friends both near and far, to point me in the right direction. And

with patience and perseverance simply immeasurable. To those who've

wondered where I've been; present with YouTube projects, but completely lost

in my head. And despite needing help, I did not deserve it. Yet, I've been given a

breed of support that is indescribable, and couldn't have been in any better

hands. I know it's been a while and a half since I last uploaded, but it's

imperative that I devote my priority to respecting those who've stuck their

neck out for me by realigning my values as I move forward. And though I

regretfully cannot say how far off the next video may roughly be, I can say

that it is because of these very people in my lucky, lucky life, I vow to make

sure my future creations speak for my true appreciation.

I remember the good ol' days when finding village was good only for stealing their farm and chests in the house with the lava

I can’t believe minecraft went from building dirt houses to building a sustainable economy.

Villagers: Considered the most intelligent mobs in Minecraft

Also villagers: Walk into each other and push each other off mountains

It’s crazy how I used to be so heartless towards villagers, but now if a zombie kills even one and I happen to be in the vicinity, I’m just a single click away from ending that whole undead bloodline.

Me: trades one emerald for one sea pickle with a villager

Villager: STONKS

So were not gonna talk about how smooth his ad transitions are?

"Video games are violent"

Me: I have to save the village's economy so I can be successful

I miss this dude, discovered his tnt cannon vid and I was hooked.

When the villager said “hrmm”, I felt that.

"Nitwits wander just about as much as they sleep, as well as completely ignore town meeting, what a life"

Never before have I felt so offended by something I 100% agree with

Me: makes a house at a village
Also me: puts bed in the house
Villager: ItS FrEe ReAL EsTAte

Although it’s been 3 years since Cubey’s last upload, I shall continue to await his return!

Villager: escapes hut I made for it

Me: WHAT ARE. YOU DOING?!

Villager: hrm
