What is it actually like to live as a Kin? In this video, we explore the grimdark evolution of the Leagues of Votann, from a Kin Child in the asteroids to the digital transcendence of a Votann Ancestor.
⛏️ Join the League:
The Path of the Kin:
0:00 Level 1: Kin Child (The Asteroid Hold)
3:15 Level 2: Hearthkyn Warrior (The Void War)
5:28 Level 3: Hearthguard (The Iron Wall)
7:50 Level 4: Einhyr Hearthguard (Exo-Armor Might)
10:35 Level 5: Grimnyr (The Living Ancestor)
13:04 Level 6: Kâhl (The War-Leader)
14:47 Level 7: League Council (The High Decisions)
17:10 Level 8: Ancestor (Digital Immortality)
Do you think the Ancestor Core is actually "alive"? Or is it just a digital tomb? Let me know in the comments!
This Warhammer 40,000 lore video covers the hierarchy of the Leagues of Votann (formerly known as Squats). Whether you follow the Greater Thurian League or the Kronus Hegemony, the Kin look after their own.

2) There is no distinction between Hearthguard and Einhyr Hearthguard, they are one and the same rank. There is indeed a rank of Einhyr Champion, however.

This video is a stylized dramatization — no single Votann realistically climbs every level in one clean arc. Compressed into one POV journey for the format.
