I hope more male victims(and female) are able to share their stories after seeing Clark's interview or after reading his book. Being a victim of abuse of any kind does not make you less of a man, woman or person in general. Thank you for the reaction, I sobbed like a baby through it all.

As someone who’s been SAed as a child I cried when watching this episode because I know how it feels to have your brain altered by the trauma. To this day I tense up when my family hugs me because of what happened.

I'm so sorry to hear you went through something so awful. You're hella strong for opening up about it, Seb. The people who hurt you are broken, not you.
Sending you a virtual hug. Please be gentle with yourself 🫂

my dad sexually assaulted me for my whole childhood till i moved out at 16 i didn’t tell anyone till i was 21 cause i thought that was just how dad’s show affection for their daughters, i talked about it with my pastor who said i should be grateful my dad loves me, we’ve reported him and nothing has been done and he works at a school

2:21:40 Seb, I don't know what happened in your life but I hope you know that you have human strangers on the internet from all over the world that care about you. For whatever that is worth. ❤

As a CSA survivor, my heart ached hearing you tell your story. I hope in the future that male victims will be listened to and protected. May you have peace and healing, you should be proud of who you are, because you are such a lovely person!

I think the most important takeaway of this video is how powerful it can be to share your story. The fact that this is the first time you have heard another man tell his SA story obviously seems like it was both extremely difficult for you but also like it was impactful? The sharing of stories like this means we can share our internalized feelings of shame and burden and hopefully alleviate these emotions and not feel so alone. I hope you know that you are not alone (however dark that might sound too) and i am very thankful that you are still here and that you are open to sharing these vulnerable moments with us. In turn others will feel more comfortable opening up as well. Thank you!

This is a heavy one. We love you Sebastine, take care of yourself ❤

I really want to give seb a super safe hug with consent ofc and also a journal where he can write these things if he doesn't want to share with us. I feel so proud of you seb watching you be vulnerable and crying. It's ok. You'll be ok. It's not your fault. I wish my mom was my ride or die but she couldn't love a gay daughter. My dad was our abuser and although he hurt us both, she couldn't stand that I found wings to fly with while she walked with chains. I hope you can get some real therapy. Trauma PTSD focused therapy has given me an entire new life and perspective after years of pain and suicidality.

This story messed me up but part 2 is so sweet it made me forget about all the tears i shed!

Thank you for being so open and vulnerable and sharing your story. I really respect you.

We love you seb 🫂❤

Good job Seb for posting this on mens day. I watch all reactions to this video its been over 20 times and I cry every time. As a child r*pe survivor myself who can never have the peace of mind of an apology or confrontation it was healing to see this. As a woman you'd think i wont relate but this is the most connected i've felt.

50:50 Sorry, it shouldn't have been funny... But the way you said "he should go to the police!" then your immediate realization that he WAS the police made me laugh before letting out a mournful sigh. The audacity of some people.

yup, his story healed a lot for me as well. I cried as well. Thank you brother

I hope more men can come foward to bring awareness and speak their peace about being abused, manipulated by afults or someone they thought they could trust such as cops, parents, friend, teachers etc....
I commend anyone who can talk about their experience as a victim because it is important to let people know they arent alone amd their isn't anything to be ashamed of.
It is not your fault, you couldnt have known but even if you did its still not your fault that you as a kid thought you could trust someone who everyone looks up to.

Ive watched both parts of this episode and both were exually heartbreaking

My heart goes out to all the CSA survivors in the comments. I was abused for like roughly 7 years, starting from when I was 5. My abuser was my brother and only 2 years older than me so it's hard to fault him for most of what he did but I still hold resentment anyway. It's left me with some really complicated feelings. Especially because to this day (I'm 20 now) we still live together and I can't even begin to heal when we just pretend that it didn't happen. My mom makes the healing even worse. Just a few months ago she said I "deserved everything he did" to me because I defended him in an arguement. Wishing the best for you all, I hope we can begin to heal one day (And to any ARMY in the comments, Borahae 💜).

Part 2 is wild yet surprisingly healing! Hope you're doing well, and no rush.

sebastine you have such a genuine and beautiful soul, so it hurts to see you cry. i know you will find a ride or die kind of person, maybe you’ve already found them but you don’t know it yet! keep being you and i have no doubt they’ll come along :)

32:59 I’m really sorry this happened to you. Also thank you for saying that he was just a child. I was graped for half a year when i was 9 and I still feel guilty about not doing enough to stop it. Obviously I know it makes no sense and i would never blame someone else for not fighting back because it’s normal to freeze or even to participate in it to get it over with. But somehow I can’t stop feeling the blame when it comes to my own experiences. So you saying that he was just a child and no one should blame him really helped. (I haven’t really shared my story except to a few close friends so I guess it helps hearing that again) Again thanks so much and im really sorry you also had to experience such horrible things
