This fight scene alone proves that a Shaolin Monk spin off film with these two actors could be possible!

Liu Kang keeping track of the hat and knocking it back while fighting was absolutely phenomenal. What a scene this was.

I really love Kung Lao's moves with quick successive jabs. The actor is awesome.

Man this fight is so well choreographed they said it took them a week to film this but to actually get it all it took ludi lin and max Huang months to get this nailed to perfection of hard training, the best fight in the movie, how about that enhanced hat slide and his teleport technique thats just sick,

That teleporation and flaming dragon kick was 🤌 oufff

Max Huang has the impeccable stance and swagger of Kung Lao. Generational casting and performance.

"That thing doesn't obey the laws of physics at all" - Liu Kang

Me and my brother were holding onto each other during the entire fight, it was so amazing and we genuinely didn't know who would win. Liu Kang, a great fighter but doesn't want to hurt the man who he sees as a brother and Kung Lao, now resurrected and has no reasons to hold back with his moves which makes him even deadlier than before. The ending surprised us and my brother kinda got emotional because he loves Kung Lao and still hasn't gotten over what happened to him in the first movie. 10/10 fight scene.

1:36 That teleportation using the hat was one of the sickest moves I've seen on screen. They really paid homage to the games with this one.

0:29 I love how Kung Lao does his MK 11 fighting stance.

This scene was a work of art

1:05 This HAD to have been a nod to the drop kick Liu did in the 1995 film when he was fighting the monk in the courtyard.

The moves, the stage, the special effects, the music, the emotions.
Man, this is a cinematic masterpiece.

They way liu Kang got fed up n started getting serious can’t tell me he not a god😂💯

0:29 I love how Kung Lao does his MK 11 fighting stance. Perfection.

It was cool as hell showing how proficient Kung Lao was with his bladed hat. I very much appreciate how they went about showing all the supernatural abilities in both this and the previous movie.

Dopest fight scene in the movie 💯

This will be remembered as one of the best fight scenes in movies. Choreography, both actors, lighting, soundtrack everything is on point

that hand movements to summon the hat  so dope. kung lao probably the best char in MK2.

This should have been the final fight of the movie to be honest. Two highly skilled and fit actors, going all out with great choreography.
Best duel of the movie.
And this is the only time in the entire movie where we hear the original mortal kombat music in remix. They should use that OST more often 2:02
