triple s. finally won never thought i'd see the day

7:40 This guy’s comms are insanse 😂

Hal is referring to how it affects comp

But the point is still valid, devs have done this since day 1 and it has done significant harm to the sandbox

For years they wouldn't touch Octane of all characters because he had a high pick rate. They clearly thought he was in a good place (we all know that's absolute bull lol)
Pathfinder was a refrigerator with a 30s 1 time use grapple for years and didn't receive a buff for years because again, because he was fun to play as, Respawn saw him as balanced. He absolutely sucked balls lol, it's just fun to hit fat grapples
Fuckin Wattson got nerfed a few years back because her win rate was uniquely high despite being the SECOND LEAST picked character. When in reality the only people playing her were people lile Lamic or people that were good regardless of playing Wattson and just liked playing her, and yeah she was strong in a top 5 scenario but getting Wattson there means having to have played wattson before she could even place fences or a gen above eye level lmao

Devs need to stop relying so heavily on these metrics as basis alone for balance changes and actually understand why they are the way they are

Hal is absolutely right, but for a different reason entirely. The game SHOULD be balanced around actual character viability. Not just win/pick rates alone. The devs need to understand why those rates are the way that they are before making decisions

The thing is, diamond lobbies and higher only account for so much of the entire player base and the legend pick rate data is effected a lot by the general public (who sucks at apex) so it isn't only pred legend pick rate that determines if a character gets nerfed like Hal seems to think

No crashout today? Smh

No way he said fuse is balanced

"catalyst is balanced" what game is this guy playing
