If I find out my fiance cheated on me two weeks before my wedding, ain't no embarassment for me but it will be for him. I telling EVERYBODY. "Yow! the is wedding cancelled. This nasty man cheated on me. I'm not marrying him. Apologies for the inconvenience! " I will try to salvage anything went into the preparations. It's still better than an expensive, drawn-out divorce down the line.
If my friend cannot come to me with something like this or vice versa, and it be handled maturely, we're not really friends.
remember walking along High Street one day and seeing a relative’s husband holding hands with another woman. Knowing how much trouble this man was putting my relative through, despite everything she was doing for him, I walked up to him and said, “So-and-so is home, and this is what you’re doing?” I honestly thought I was doing the right thing and looking out for her. He went back and told my relative what I had said, and she stopped speaking to me for a very, very long time. One of my other relatives even told me that I was wrong and that I was out of place for confronting him. But at the time, I genuinely believed I was protecting her and doing what I thought was right. Eventually, my relative and her husband separated. He went on to marry the woman I had seen him with, and they had two children together. I believe he may have even had a child with her before he and my relative officially separated. Looking back, I realize that sometimes you can try to protect someone because you care about them, but they may not be ready to hear or accept what you are telling them.
Saw my friend’s husband smooching someone else. They are still married & had another child. We’re no longer friends but I’m well hydrated from the MYOB water I’ve been drinking since.
I'm telling my friend. I'm giving all the information and whatever decision is made after, I'll be at peace with it. If friendship ends then it means that friend did not consider me as a friend... their lost not mines.
I going to the wedding, eat, drink and mind my business 😅with how these people is these days 🙄 in the end it will be you the problem. So I'm minding my business 🤣 In the end what hides in the dark, does come to light 🤷 and as you all said, we does already know for real, the gut does tell ya 😁
I told my friend about her man, and she didn't speak to me for 20yrs. That said guy put her through HELL and HELL again and again!!! So, I would not do that again.
Everything is based on maturity and loyalty of your friend. My girlfriend used to tell me my husband didn't deserve the good treatment I was giving him, only to find out he was cheating on me with her, the preacher in church. I left him right then and there
This is a really great and relevant discussion. Remember even if you choose to tell your friend it’s the right thing to do and one shouldn’t feel guilty or responsible for the consequences ie if the relationship breaks up. The parties are the ones solely responsible for their actions
