Walla Beauty Fishing & Hunting

Kia Orana family and friends from the beautiful island community 🌴
In this video, we show how we put together a proper kaikai using the abundance of the land and sea for a family picnic. This is a full island adventure — hunting, fishing, gathering, cooking, and camping — all with one purpose: feeding family.

We set up camp, go pig hunting for the umu, hunt coconut crabs and birds, catch crayfish, and head out fishing to complete the feast. From bush to beach, from firewood to umu, from sea to plate, this is real island life and traditional food preparation done the island way.

Cooking through the night, waking up early to fish, and sharing food together by the ocean — this is what family, culture, and island living is all about.
