I had a "great experience" when I purchased a leather medium size ladies handbag at a THRIFT STORE. Everything is "used items".  I placed my purchase handbag in my closet. About two weeks later, I wanted to use my used handbag,  and clean it first. When I checked a side pocket, I found $125. DOLLARS CASH. And with that cool find, I will continue to shop at used thrift stores. LOL!❤😄

I don’t think I could have left that gorgeous cross-stitch behind, wet or not. It’s so beautiful

Me too i just hit a pile yesterday they threw away Gucci purse two of them you can smell the leather and three real Prada bags when I got home i checked inside cause one was heavy there were two full sterling silver Pandora charm bracelets and 40 bucks in cash ppl really don't watch what they throw out good for you too

I don't think these women realize the value of the treasures they left behind versus the trash they actually took like the Seagrams picture, which was obviously full of bug eggs.

I hate seeing people throw away books there are so many kids

That Rockefeller print is really nice.

One of my neighbors put their snowblower at the street to dump it.  I called my pastor, who is great at repairs, and asked if he wanted it.  He rushed over and took it.  All it needed was the gas drained and new gas put in.  The snowblower was worth hundreds of dollars!

Hello from Brisbane. The Rockefeller Center art work is a commercially produced print,  possibly a lithograph that was made in a limited edition. Yours is the 655 out of 1000. These type of prints, although not the original are usually accurate in colour and size and signed and editioned by the artist in pencil.

Those lawn chairs sell for a lot, even if frayed. They are vintage, and very light. Ppl love them cause they are easy to carry.

The white Dooley is real. Have the same one I bought in the late 90’s

You can always paint the frog. I repaint my gnomes all the time.

The charming Rockefeller art is by Patricia Palermino Art  and it's called the Rockefeller Center Holiday. I have a 500 piece puzzle of this print.

You should have checked the rug that was near the doll house out because a quick clean with your upholstery cleaner and you can sell them for $100

The seagrams is probably worth $100 or more! It’s vintage and discontinued. Highly collectible. When in doubt, take items. U can always fonate them in the local clothing bins.

Great find. Me and my wife got engaged under the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Christmas eve 1999.

Be careful about picking up something like the Seagrams picture - if it looks dirty like that one does at the top it could have roaches inside. I was given some thing - furniture and framed pics and the next thing I knew I had roaches in my house 😡

I would have picked up that toy box, the doll house, furniture, art work, and sold them on FB marketplace.
And I would have cleaned up the frog and painted it.

So happy
You saved the dollhouse it’s gorgeous

The "Halloween themed" playset is Imaginext and that's Green Goblins house.

Those frogs and all outdoor ornaments sell huge! Even broken ones. Sadly you left the chipped one. Ppl love them distressed too.
