"THINK OF A BIG BLACK MAN CHASING YOU" that caught me off guard 😭

"He's leaving her again."
in the same cemetery
with the same fog
and equally alone and defenseless

my favorite moment has to be "not because you're a rabbit... but because you're black 😭" that gets me every time.

A little bit of correct information.

Ghost Stories was actually a decent show at Japan with fair ratings, almost rivaling Pokemon at the time. To the westerners, it was the equivalent of Ghostbusters. It already had some books as a base.

When they bought the IP from Japan, they aren't really sure it would stick with western viewers because its just a very niche folklore so they kinda give them freedom on the script, all they need to follow of the general plot character and the ghost.

The producer Steven Foster who was supervising the dubbing process lied to the VA about the series being a flop in Japan to make it unhinged. It was a full fledged project rather than them goofing around, Foster would guide the VA to make more unhinged jokes

Have you just ignored the girl hailing the german painter w/ moustache at 11:30 ish? 🙋‍♂️ 😂

Someone that's actually watches the series, that's amazing!

Welcome to the best English dub ever! HaveyouacceptedJesusasyourpersonalsavior?

Every time I see someone react to Ghost Stories clips, the more I find myself wanting to sit down and actually watch the whole series

Wow how th I'm the first person to hype this video😂😂😂

I always love the cat's lines, he reminds me of Lucy from Disenchantment lol. My favorite scene is where he tells the kids " you are four of the UGLIEST children I have ever had the misfortune of laying my eyes on and I hope the ghost eats you" 😂

KEIICHIROU AND MOMOKO ARE THE BEST CHARACTERS

The dub of ghost stories really went "fuck the script we make our own script" LOL

Fantastic video

"You can do it"

You are a real one. ^^

Darlings?

Corvine?

I need to go back and watch this show lol

Back from a time where humor was still legal

I was wondering if you were interested in making a reaction video to the new and very fun animated series from the Youtube channel called Donald Binks. His videos are realy good and improve with each episode like for example better fight scenes, fun character interactions and so much more.

Also here is the name of the first episode of the 4 episode long series and I hope you will enjoy reacting through these fun journey:
