Imagine all the difficulties the developer had in 1992.
This whole game is less than 6MB (only 5 x 1.22MB Disk)

i love how the game loves you so much it didn't want to see you leave at the end

the Sanford and Son reference is great

I always thought that attacking an enemy after calming them would decrease your honor.

The staff makes all spells cost 0 mp but no other empowerment. Having the speed be at max hurts you because the enemies’ frames are also faster and you can’t lob enough spells at them before engaging. I also played the game at max speed when I was a kid so this brings me back.

Love QFG3, thanks for doing the Magic User playthrough. Really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see Casty's adventures in Mordavia!

I really like your let's plays. Very entertaining 👏

10:01 That's Ja'Afar, who was the companion and translator for "Omar the Poet." He's probably the Sultan's scribe or vizier, not his son.

Again, I love this series so much. Thanks for the wizard run on this. I only did it once myself and I didnt remember how to kill demon wizard. Can't wait for Shadows of Darkness!!!

Marvelous, thank you!

Your agility never went up because you never used the bridge the right way.  I got mine up to 259 with a new character--I'm playing online and can't seem to save my character between games, but I got high enough to even win a bridge competition with Uhura.  Thanks for the strength tip, though--I finally was able to win some battles afterwards.

Thank you so much for this!  I came looking for a video walkthrough because I couldn't find the blue orchid--in retrospect, there were some drawbacks to playing with the blue light filter on!  But, thanks to you, I overcame them.

This was a great find, and I was pleasantly surprised with the commentary that wasn't even advertised.  I would have never figured out the hacks on my own.  I'm definitely going back and watching 1 and 2 for things I missed, and plan to stick with you for 4 and 5--this was the most helpful walkthrough I've found.  🥰

I know I'm a year too late, but have you ever considered just DISPELLING the Shaman Demon?

After learning Arabic as an adult its always cool to come back and see meanings behind  phrases and names.

Nhark sa'id means good day, the money changers name here literally translates to pure gold. In QFG2 "ma fhmtsh" means "I don't understand". Cool bits of trivia, you can see the team did good research.

I must say that the combat music sucks in QfG3. Actually, the music overall is awful in this iteration.
