I'm wondering if it would be faster to use a straight, stiff, stainless steel wire (as used in shaping knitting) instead of a garter bar, after the transfers? It would save having to skip over the empty places on the garter bar, since the stitches are all together on the wire.

Just out of curiosity is there a way to use the garter bar on the ribber? Just thinking in terms circular knitting rather than flat knitting. I love these videos and learning new skills with my machine.
Thank you. You certainly make that look easy! I was curious if it would be advantageous to center the knitting when putting back on the bed? My understanding for things like patterning on a punchcard machine is it works from the center of the bed? I guess maybe electronics can work from the edges, maybe?
