For anyone curious about the g intro, Arin said "crayon mécanique", which is French for "mechanical pencil"

"I JO'd earlier so it wouldn't distract me."
"Did you really?"
"Yeah, dude."
"Man..."

Game grumps will be 10 years old this year.

dude I'm too hungover to be in this fever dream of an intro 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I let this videos play on my TV while I'm sleeping and it's currently 1:41 at night- that intro both confused me and scared me xD

That intro was upsetting and funny. All different length pauses

"Who was he in Starship Troopers?  The Bug?"      THAT slayed me.

Arin's contemptuous *jesus* at 1:28:35 really makes this clip infinitely rewatchable

Now it’s 10 years old

Totally just watched the polar bear falling holy shit thr ending

I think 2016 is when I started watching Game Grumps, the earliest playthrough I remember watching in full is Breath of the Wild as I would watch it at lunch, and I remember when the first video, their April Fools video, came out. I was so amazed and amused, lmao. It was one of the first years I experienced april fools with YouTube gamers lmao. I ALSO REMEMBER MARKIPLIER'S BANANA VIDEO

I am way too high rn for that first video😭 tf is happening

1:01:40 The whole "Ne-VAH-duh" versus "Ne-VA-duh" debate is one of those things that's more about local idiom instead of technical correctness. Let's get it out of the way, though: nevada is a Spanish word, meaning snowfall, and if you type it into Google translate, you'll get the Spanish pronunciation, which agrees with Arin's interpretation.

The thing is there's a multitude of English words borrowed from other languages that aren't pronounced like the original tongue. The French town of Orleans is pronounced "Or-lay-AHN," but that's not the "correct" pronunciation of "New Orleans." It just shows how what's "correct" is heavily determined by usage, instead of technical correctness. (That being said, being a massive stickler for the local pronunciation is more about hometown loyalty, rather than linguistic accuracy, so let's be careful about making a last stand on ground that might be a lot more shaky than we might realize.)

Ya know, typically Arin gets words and phrases wrong multiple times a day, but he is 100% correct about Nevada. Né-vah-dah is the proper pronunciation, as it is a Spanish word, and that is its origin. Those people who say otherwise were raised on the incorrect colonist colloquialism.

so many mishaps with bombs in BOTW

1:28:50 YAY!

The word Nevada means nothing to me now. I've heard the word too many times lol.

OK that first video with Erin has to be truly hilarious

1:32:21 My favorite “literally my life” in GG history 😂😂😂❤
