9 maybe 10.  I’m usually so exhausted that I rarely make it past dinner!

1. Book excursions and specialty dining ahead of time. 2. Arrive at the port close to your boarding time. 3. Carry your important documents in a clear plastic ziploc bag. 4. Drop off any tagged luggage with the porters. 5. Keep your carry ons in sight and don't try to bring unauthorized items on board. 6. Once on board if able take carry ons to your cabin. 7. Meet your room Attendant. If not possibly check in any carry ons at a carry on storage location for retrieval later. 8. Go to the muster station. 9. If needed talk to guest services, special dining personnel or food allergy personnel. 10. Get something to eat or walk around the ship inside and outside and explore. 11. Take photos 12. Go to the cabin once it is available and unpack and possibly recharge the cell phone. 13. Scan the daily schedule. 14. Turn phone on airplane mode or the ship's special internet connection before departing the port. 15. Get some rest before dinner and a show.

I always have a Fun Ship drink as soon as I get on the ship! Always!

Don't gamble.Don't stay up late on embarkation day. Don't post pictures until I get home( Don't want people to know my house is empty)

We have never cruised but have watched La Lida Loca and Emma Cruises for several years and it's been a fascinating journey learning about cruising. This intro of what you actually do on embarkation day was very insightful! Thank you for the great information and humor. Really enjoy your channel.

Tony, Thanks for your day 1 list.  It’s very helpful. 🎉

11 first day things for me. I always make sure I have a cocktail for sailaway.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Celebrity, but you are absolutely right about their coffee shop. It is the best!

I do like 10 of those things I’ve only cruised Carnival so I don’t make reservations for shows or speciality dining, I don’t do the casino or any shows the first night I’m usually tipsy and tired from the sail away party lol so I usually wake up early the first morning while everybody is still asleep  and unpack all our stuff and decorate our door then I feel like I’m really in vacation mode!

I always have a Guys Burger as soon as I finish muster

Hi all !!! Love Ypur YouTube Reviews!!! I did  13 things for my first Cruise last year for my 50th Birthday 🎂 !!! Ludacris 😅!!! Stay blessed ❤!!

We do most of those things (not the photo). One thing that I add is that I'll go get a glass of wine to have on the balcony for sail-away.

Iwe always get our picture taken at the backdrop!!!

11 to 12. Being older We don't stay up late. I do check daily schedule, my wife never does.

My passport is in a special passport wallet that is zipped up in my travel vest, along with my Global Entry card which I keep in a extensible card holder.  I have never lost it as it is always there (I go to Mexico about 6 - 10 times a year).

1 All excursions and specialty dinning booked weeks ahead. 2 Also check for my passport multiple times before walking out of the house and then as I put my bag in the trunk. 3 Make sure I have tip cash in my pocket so tipping at the port is fast. 4 Head to the Lido for tacos while my travel mates wait in the longer line for burgers. 5 Go check the cabin to see if luggage has arrived. 6 Meet the room steward to give them a list of what we need in the cabin. ( I get extra bars of soap to use in the shower instead of the pump soap, extra pillows and mattress toppers, and ask for ice morning and evening.) 6 Muster station 7 Ship walk through (find the walking track, theaters, assigned dinning room and most importantly the piano bar.) 8 unpack. 9 Get a drink and watch sail away from either the Lido or balcony depending on the port. Always top of the ship if it's Tampa going under the Skyway. 10 Upack.

Woohoo Texas! I hope you have fun in our great state. 😊

Our cruise had a sofa. I put our suite case on it and put my camera gear in it and locked it whenever I left the room instead of trying to hide it.

Missed the live but appreciate it just as much. 😊

Missed the live!  I read on my kindle mostly but will buy the hardcover version of my favorites like Stephen King, Edger Allen Poe. I would go crazy at a half price store and find myself a post office and send them home via flat rate boxes. 😂 . My sister and I do Legos.  We love the build process.
