Hello Friends and Followers!

What happens when AI competes against 25 years of graffiti experience?
For this experiment, I divided my graffiti garden wall into two halves. One side was "designed"with the help of AI and painted by hand, while the other side was created the traditional way... with my own ideas, experience and skills.
Same wall. Same artist. Two completely different approaches.
But the experiment doesn't end with the finished wall. I also turned both sides into artworks and let them compete beyond the wall.
AI vs. SKILL — which side wins?

Much love - SMOE

Yo - I am looking forward to see what happens between now and 1st of September. You can grab your original piece of the wall here: https://www.smoenova.de/prints
Until then - stay curious, stay creative... oh and I forgot to put the final Numbers of the left side and right side in the video... But I will not manage to edit this again - I will give an in depth review about how stupid it is to measure art in time, like it was a race in the update in September too... Somehow my rant about the weird efficiency battle in art fell off the time line... I will add that. Thanks for your support!

I enjoyed your struggle with yourself and I think that the AI version is also your own. You had to imput your directions and change a lot of things until you liked the image that was made, and then you gave it life and did a fantastic job painting it. I am very impressed with how the AI side came out. I am excited to see what you create next with or without AI.

I loved both images. The right was one of the most sculptural graffiti style pieces I have ever seen, just wonderful, beautiful color choices. The left is an adventure, representational illusion and fantasy, photo surrealism, people enjoy these qualities in an image due to the skill they take to execute and you took your time to further prompt a fun beautiful image. You wouldn't let yourself enjoy painting the left side, and you pressed yourself technically on the right side so hard it must have been exhausting. You need to let yourself free. Your skill is consummate, enjoy the process and trust your experience. Let new images and ideas from AI boost your motivation, and allow the process of your original style to demonstrate your technical prowess through relaxation of your mind freeing your judgment of yourself in the moment to be more about your own state and how to give more of yourself in your graphic expression.

This was one of your best videos so far. Really enjoyed everything about it. As an old graffiti artist I must say your piece was your best piece so far and it wiped the floor with AI.

Man you are such an amazing artist. Your letters are next level and the ability to bring so much depth to a piece is crazy. And as far as the AI piece goes the skill it takes to paint that with a can is ridicules. Love both the pieces.

Please, never stop making videos!!!

MTN y'all made a smart choice by sponsoring this art experiment
Final decision to have her holding the graffiti letters was more fire!

Really nice experiment. Out of nowhere.

When it comes to artists, it's about their taste, because that's where all the creations comes from. You are unique. Your artwork represent your taste, skills, emotions, it's layered and it has your unique signature on it. Those are the values.
AI can be good or bad at copying other artists.

Anyway, keep up with good work!

Your painting skills are crazy good... Your passion and love for your artwork shines though even on the AI side.... Also, never question the beauty of your letters; they are extremely beautiful ^__^

Wow! I've been painting for 20 years and a bit more, too. I don't usually go for the style you do, but I respect your work and the way you present it in your videos—your versatility and sense of humor make the videos more enjoyable.

Greetings from Colombia!

Thanks buddy. The world requires folks like you to inspire, trudge the road to experience, and uplift and support eachother. You are one of an awsumm kind.

Yes, it is worthwhile to continue to be an artist. You can't let being an artist die out. I am not an artist; I love watching the process of your work. I love the brick background!!!

Such an interesting experiment! I love seeing your multiple frustrations for each step of each side. To translate the AI onto the wall took considerable skill, I'm loving the final print you made of her. The graffiti side is so beautifully rendered! You are having a great time getting those first lines up.

Natural diamonds are still more sought after than lab made diamonds. Authenticity matters. Also it's about the enjoyment of the process along with the finished product.
