The thing about Deku, is-

He has info on most if not all pro heroes, AND those in UA. If he has the time to match up on your tactics and strategize, he will. And he’ll make sure he gets the job done.

And that? That, is what makes him intimidating in some sort of way. Because no matter what your quirk is, or what advantage you’d have, he’d still likely find a new tactic. Even if he lived most/all of his life, without a quirk. And that’s yet another factor that makes him slightly horrific.

Because this 16 year old, has ways to outplay just about anyone if given the moment to prepare. And it’s especially when he’s ready that it matters, because he’d potentially have more then one trick up his sleeve to outmatch and opponent he spent time watching. Even if he has a ‘disadvantage’ he’d find some sort of way to up the playing field.
