The DAs are a large part of the problem. They should prosecute for ALL the offenses. The "catch and release" "milk and cookies" "let's make a deal" approach to crime IS NOT WORKING!!

Oh wow, this case is shocking. He needs a long sentence. He's unsafe.

This poor family have no idea how violent he is! They seem like a good family, where did he go wrong!

Case #1: Oh he'll get help with his angry violence. Inmates strike back.

He put a gun in her mouth so him being a good kid doesn’t make sense

The aunt: oh brother.

No one has ever seen him angry. How is that even possible?

Blame the victim time...

The defendant should have been sentenced for 40 years with no chance of early release. 3 times of violent assault, using a firearm on all assaults and threating a whole family. Judge Boyd did nothing to truly punish this defendant.

Seems they want family member to do for him. He needs to be held responsible for all his actions!

I knew the Judge would see right through his victim blaming. He is most definitively dangerous. I genuinely hope his family gets over the sad illusion that he’s their perfect son.

Since I was a child, I've always made it my purpose to study people just something that just occurred when I was little, I'd stare at people. And while they were talking, what their reactions were from kids to grown-ups still do it, and I'm 64, I've gotten quite a knack for it, I guess I call it my woman's intuition, so to speak.  And it's turned out pretty good by this time I've grown quite well at in this ... this young man by the way his body language is his eyes his demeanor tone of voice the way he carries himself he is showing  Judge Boyd which I am sure she is way much better at it than I am because she is a judge and she is exposed to multitude of different types of people in vast age  differences  committing crimes from one end of a spectrum to the other she will see for herself that this young man is not telling the truth and what these defendants don't realize they actually think even believe they're being clever but they're giving themselves away in a heartbeat

I hope his wife or his mother that is speaking is not afraid and tells a different story cause when we love someone  we always want to protect them even though they don't protect us or even themselves

We as women almost began to think it is us who is the problem it's our fault

I actually learned over time it was never my fault that's just the way they were by me, coddling them even apologizing after they hit me they always said it was my fault and I believed it

That took years levels of acceptance and growth some women don't find that and make different choices and destroy themselves

These young men don't take that into consideration

Here he stands, hoping to get very little judgment a slap on the wrist.

I don't see myself as a victim anymore happily married 33 years the only thing my husband's ever done was yell at me, never had fear he's an amazing protector

I was fortunate I became brave enough to finally leave that behind that is a terrible cycle to be in you don't feel like there is an escape

And I hope this young man receives the penance he so justly deserves

I don't speak out of bias that is unfair I speak out of this set of circumstances and what I have seen and heard you cannot offer an opinion that is biased other people will read it and we are put on this Earth to help people and to at least put the truth out there for others to learn from our mistakes so they may possibly help themselves and help others

I usually never share such personal thoughts private I have always been but I'm hopeful others will learn from my journal its important to me so hopefully they won't remain in a destructive relationship as I did for so many years

The perfect son. The perfect family. He has  a girlfriend and she’s  allowed to live with them and share his bedroom. Say what???? He’s absolutely innocent, drugs and a gun but he’s a saint.

I love Judge Boyd.  She is fair, can see a con, and wants ppl to succeed.  I’ve been watching her for wks now

7 months so far 4 this young violent felon. He needs 7 years or I believe he will kill an innocent no doubt about it! He's had enough chances!
