Growing up i had the official guide for DW3 which didn't list where Black Agumon was. And I tried looking literally everywhere for him. Not finding out he was in the tunnels at a dead end until nearly a decade later >_>

It's cool that all the images on the card in this mini game or the images from Digimon digital card battle on PS1. I was watching the video for like 5-10 minutes is like wait a second I recognize all of these cards it's played slightly different but basically the same thing that's a fun game if you haven't played it

recently i'd tried a demo of a game called Anode heart: Layer Null. And oooohhhh boi, it send me back as a kid playing dw3.
It's a whole game, completly inspired, about the card game of dw3, like... even the principal city song it's sound like asuka city and the loading screen too

I think I spent more time playing this card game than the actual main game tbh. Once I got access to Amaterasu, specifically Zhu Que (Suzaku) City and got Revival Charge, I always invested in a mill deck during my playthroughs that would spam my full deck containing things like Security Hall etc, then restore everything with Revival Charge.
One interesting curiousity is that before Amaterasu, you only have access to 2 booster 8a in the game, and it had several unique program cards for the time you get them (such as Beast Energy, Gold Aura and Security Hall). So I used to re-roll those boosters to get what I wanted from them.
Also, as for 6:39 -- you can actually mess with the AI behaviour with the right cards, namely Chrono Balance (to give them cards that they generally don't have in their hand directly) or Misery Gate (to get rid of cards that they are meant to have, meaning they get others instead).

Man, I love finding this channel at 5 AM randomly. You always just bring the V I B E. You have such a chill video style that's nice to chill to and go back to sleep to. Thanks bro.

39:26 its name is based on the Greek Daemon, or Demon, meaning a type of spirit typically seen as neutral or malevolent, so no, Daemon is its name, it is the leader in most cases of the Seven great demon lords because it outlived all of them by a massive margin, even being the catch all term for evil spirits in modern English: Demon

they really took a lot of inspiration from magic, your basically playing a classic blue/black control deck with thought seizes and counterspells and it even has a stack system. the power matches magics mana as well, but idk what they were thinking not putting a power cost on program or brown cards

As you were explaining the card colors and their program card effects, I noticed that what the devs essentially put into this game was just a well thought out copy of Magic: The Gathering

So I did a little bit of research, and it turns out: Yeah, the name of that green card is supposed to be "Wild" Aura. I thought it was a misspelling of "Weald Aura" or something, but it turns out to be ワイルドオーラ in the Japanese version.

Currently playing through digimon world 2003 on streams this year and I’m dedicating a deck to green specific digimon so videos like yours are really helpful for finding really useful cards for me to look out for. I only wish green decks had a decent summon digimon program card as palmon is pretty weak

The game (and the channel) that keeps on giving! I really enjoy your videos and the way you narrate them is also hilarious at times, here's hoping for many more!

The Time Stranger card game works more as an upgrade to the medals in Cyber Sleuth rather than as a real card game
Mostly they just included them so they could acknowledge missing Digimon, like Smash Bros Trophies, the mechanics side is just an extra. I do wish it was better tho.
