Hi Eleanor.   You might know this by now.  You can stay in supermarket car parks over night if you phone the number on the board.  You are my best YouTube channel.  I watch a lot of YT.

This is probably one of the most enjoyable channels on YouTube in my opinion and it's because of your enthusiasm and personality Ellie, bravo mate👌

When I was escorting oversized loads around Australia, I never needed a toilet.  We mostly parked near facilities.  I once did get caught in the middle of South Australia.  Best I could do was find a bush and do my thing and let mother nature bio-degrade everything.  Unfortunately in the darkness I had wandered onto someones front yard, I later discovered as the sun rose and preparing to leave.  Needless to say, we left a little quicker that morning. I also got sprung by a kangaroo staring at me from 2 m away in the middle of the night. Not far out of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

As I mentioned before, I recently bought myself an all wheel drive wagon, big enough to stretch out in and just right for one or two nights out. I’m going to use my old deep cycle battery that I don’t use now I have lithium in the ambulance. That will be enough to keep my 15 L fridge running, as well as a laptop. For the laptop I use a 90 W inverter specially built for that purpose.  It just plugs into a lighter socket.  I also have a portable solar panel to put out when parked up. Apart from those things I will be travelling light.  There will be enough room for 2 to travel but you would want to be dating. So, in the off chance, I will just have two sets of cutlery, etc. I have some thick insulation that I will use for window blackouts when needed.  The sun can be brutal in the morning.

All your tips are great, especially the ones regarding female hygiene.

We had another 40° day yesterday, and next week we are looking at another two.

Anyway, I’m a bit confused as to which channels you are posting on  but All your channels pop up when you post something.  I’m looking forward to your next adventure, and this year, I’m planning to get out a little more often, especially those short trips.

Safe travels  and ❤❤❤ from Perth Western Australia, where it is so hot you can fry eggs without turning on your stove.

Another wonderful video Ellie, it's so nice to see how much thought you have put into what you need when you and stitch go on your adventures as some people might forget about some of the minor things (so called). Please make sure you always take care as you come across as a wonderful young lady who deserves to live a full and enjoyable life. Lots of love to you and enjoy your new adventure ❤

100% on the posture topic. I built a platform in the back of my CRV and hit the road without even trying it out. I went two days sleeping on it then found a dumpster to get rid of it along with the cheap mattress that I had. I will take your advice and find an orthopedic mattress. Love your videos and your sense of humor and I love the beauty of Great Britain.

Congrats on reaching over 9K, soon be 10K! Sorry to hear how painful it can get on your period, as a man I obviously can't relate and it's easy to forget what women have to go through. I get cramps and moderate to severe stomach pain often with IBS at the moment, so I can't imagine what it would be like to add even more pain.
You have a glow in your eyes when you smile and it makes you look really pretty. Hope the adventure is fun and I look forward to the next video.

This is really great advice. Just to add to the safety side. If you ever need help from another person for whatever reason, always look for an alpha male. An alpha male will never harm you, because they have daughters and little sisters. So they understand boundaries. But use your common sense. If you get a bad vibe about someone, stay away.

Depending on your vehicle, fit run-flat tyres if you can. Then, in the event of a puncture, you can still drive if you have to.

If, like me you drive an older vehicle, keep a spare alternator, starter motor, distributer, distributer cap, rotor arm, ignition leads, spark plugs, auxiliary  belt, headlamp/indicator/brake lamp bulbs, and a set of fuses onboard.

Develop the habit of refuelling when the tank drops to half full. That way you're less likely to ever run out. Carry a jerrycan if you can too, just in case.

Carry a good quality Battery Boost Pack at all times. Something like a Top Don JS 2000 will start anything up to a 6 litre diesel multiple times, and is worth every penny of it's £80-100 price tag. It also acts as a power bank, so you can charge a phone from it.

An electronic tyre pump that plugs into your vehicle's 12v socket is also a God-send.

Get a repair manual for your vehicle, along with a basic set of quality tools, and learn how to use them. Sometimes you have to be your own breakdown service, which is why I personally favour older vehicles. They're simple to work on, and are more likely to be repairable at the side of the road.

It always amazes me how some people, can make their car look like a bedroom slash living room. Nice, some very nice and cosy. That is why I respect and like those people like Eleanor,  so much. They know how make something look big while living in a tiny place like a car. And they most of the time look more happy aswell, probably due to the low costs you have with this way of living.
Awesome stuff,  great video madam Eleanor!

I use my freelander 2 for overnight stays and find the  5% black out window tints( professionally fitted) invaluable.
I've also fitted wind deflectors  allowing me to lower all four windows 2 inches throughout the night totally eliminating any condensation build up , they also prevent any rain from entering.
additionally I also use a large roof top box to free up internal space..

Great video Ellie. I’m doing my first camp out in my Freelander 2 in a couple of weeks. One thing around the posture problems you mentioned that might help which I am have to do as I am 6’3” is if you are going for longer stays, you can easily unbolt the rear seat bottoms and remove them. This means the seat backs lay completely flat and you don’t lose your storage space behind your front seats like you do if you tip the seat bottoms up. Hope this helps.

"I always wonder why birds 🐦choose to stay in the same place when they can fly🦋 anywhere on the Earth 🌎.  Then I ask myself the same question." :face-blue-question-mark: Enjoying The Vlogs Ellie !!

Hey Ellie, another trick, hi-viz on the back of the drivers seat, which is also useful for yourself on the road 😉
Stay safe lovely 🤗

My mobile phone allows me to call the emergency services with my location with 5 discrete pushes of the on and off switch. They can secretly listen in. It'll also sound an alarm. (If you want) It'll also automatically start the camera.
Of course if you were able to stay in a supermarket carpark overnight, what with the amount of CCTV available?
Stay safe! And warm.
Treat yourself to another water bottle!
❤

Toilet tent can be useful.

Really good info for those thinking about getting into car camping. My car is so small that my bed is the full length of the passenger side - I guess the positive is that I can get into the drivers seat very easily lol. Looking forward to the next video wherever you're off to have fun!! :D

Great video , i agree stop in a camp site its safer for you . good video and well presented . stay safe drive carefully .

Temu sells suction cups with a little nut and bolt very cheap and perfect for window blind fitting-great vid

Hi Ellie, that was very informative for people !  I’m so glad that you have some kind of protection with you.
You travel to such beautiful places, I say do it while you can. 🤗
Hope you’re having a wonderful day! Take care, stay safe !
Hugs 💜

Another really informative and helpful video Ellie. You've given some great tips there, well done!
I didn't realise how much thought & preparation goes into car life travelling but having that freedom to get away from it all to enjoy nature it must be worthwhile.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge & just being yourself beautiful inside & out. Enjoy your adventure away too.xx ❤

I was in the middle of a brew with a bag of crisps when you got to the issue of toileting. 😅
