Xavier was the perfect show for the wrong generation

Xavier is one of those people gifted with the ability to speak fluent YTP.

Wise words to live by

The most impressive things about Xavier to me is the incredible amount of wordplay. There's so much word based comedy packed into like every line. It's a huge amount of "funny per minute".

Xavier might have the most joke density of any show ever aired. In the frame of 10 seconds you could have a few puns, a couple visual jokes, some audio gags. Despite watching every episode multiple times I can still find new jokes.

This show was like being on acid and drunk at the same time while seeing a biblically accurate angel

One of my favorite aspects of this show is if you pay attention to EVERY flashback and EVERYTHING said by Xavier. There is an actual genuine plot and the ending and everything starts to make sense, from how Xavier acts to the reason why he looks so weirds in the first place

its all explained in the show

Xavier: Renegade Angel was simply too ahead of its time.

Had this show came out during the early-mid 2010s, then maybe people would've treated it more fairly.

Dude, watching this show and expecting a deep criticism of spiritualism and belief systems is like turning on national geographic and get surprised why there's no Spiderman

“Everyone get in the way! I am committing vehicular manburger helper!” will never fail to make me laugh.

People didn't like Xavier? I thought it was brilliant. One of my favorite Adult Swim shows of all time.

“The shock-jock humor gets exhausting and is a product of its time.” Xavier successfully filtered out the uninitiated.

Xavier is a classic

the reason why xavier didnt do well on mainstream television can be summed up with a quote from the show: "we don't cotton to freaks around these parts"

I love Xavier, it deserved better, the absurdism was perfect.
I think that baby episode probably inspired Kojima to make Death Stranding. It was the first strand type show.

after this whole video bro is STILL wrong about this show

@corenlavolpe6143 3 years ago

XRA was way ahead of its time. It's ridiculously clever and dense with jokes. The wordplay and political commentary that make fun of everyone and everything is peak comedy.
