As a 43 old father with a 12 year old and a 4 year this video brings back so many wonderful memories of a time when life was much simpler great video!

1:51 these packs are being seen for the first time since Steve Hart sealed that box at BBCE. These boxes never came sealed from the factory.

I’m 47…I remember buying these packs from Payless (before it was Rite Aid) for $.50 a pack. My buddy and I bought 10 packs each for $5.00 as a joke because basketball cards were basically worthless at the time. I remember we completed the set with 20 packs. Great box break.

I’m pushing 50 and watching you guys open these packs takes me back man. I can’t believe that I get to experience this again. Too fucking much! THANK YOU

i feel iike this is the perfect example of an investor VS collector video... one guy wants to talk about the cards and players on them and one of them just keeps on interrupting wanting to move on to the next pack to see more profit rather than just enjoying the experience of ripping such a cool box of cards

You two work so well together! Never cut each other off, allow each other to talk equally, no big dogging one another, good voices, just great to watch you two ripping classic packs!

Gentleman, I loved this. Being born in 1980 this brings back so many happy memories. As a kid I'd watch basketball with my mom and she was a Pistons fan (Zeke, Joe D, Microwave, flopping Bill, Spider Sally, and a young worm) so naturally I cheered for the Lakers! I called them the Puny Pistons so she called mine the Losing Lakers. One of the best memories of my life. Glad I discovered yall this morning!

I'm 50, and this brings back great memories!

Surprised you didn't mention on that Jordan pack that you pulled a Jordan, magic, and a bird in one pack which is pretty remarkable.

I love seeing the old pack reveals. Takes me back to being a kid.

46 and this video brought back so many memories. I started collecting in 89 so I missed these classic years. I still have a ton of cards and a giant book of John Stockton cards.

Growing up less than 2 miles from Reunion Arena (in Dallas), seeing all those Harp, Aguire, & Detlef cards brought back some memories. Detlef and Thurl Bailey fought it out for sixth man for a while. I once saw Detlef throw a pass off Uwe Blab's head and score (like a soccer header). It wasn't on purpose. I miss the game 7s with the Lakers.

We used to get rid of the gum residue by wrapping a woman's nylon stocking around your fingertip & rub it out gently in a circle, constantly changing the position of your finger in the stocking so you don't rub the residue into the card itself.

Toast to the gum.. “ crunch crunch “ 😂😂 🎉🎉🎉

Growing up in the 80s it’s always great to take a trip down memory lane with you fellas! Really enjoyed it.

When people asked Bill Laimbeer “how’s the weather up there” because of his height, he would spit on them and say “it’s raining”.

Use to work in card shop early 90s. Had tons on basketball cards. Had 88 Jordan. Not sure what I did with it. Brought up memories watching this. Cool!
