Dan really is a great asset, having an actual personality behind the camera is such a bonus!

Picked up a 1975 dt250 for $1 a couple months ago, last on the road 1979. Took a while to get it running as it was the first vehicle I revived, but it’s such a dream to ride. Go out there and save a bike!

Pretty impressive of the original rider to ride it enough to wear off the paint down to bare metal on the tank but not a single dent.

Please restore this bike. I love the colors and nostalgia

I grew up with that generation of dirt bikes.  They were brilliant,  light, simple, and huge fun.

Nr. 114 alive again.Brilliant job. Please keep the patina. It took a lot of races to make it look that way. I bet the former owners wife is so happy. 👍😉😎

I bought a 1974 MX250A in 1977 at age 15 as a trail bike while recovering from knee surgery. After recovery,  I bought a 1978 CR250R and put the MX aside until 1994. Then I restored the Yamaha, put on a PVL ignition and had it ported for mid to top end. I raced AHRMA and SEVMX with that bike until 2013.

I love the history on these 2 Yamaha 250s.  It is a tribute to the man and woman the ran and raced and then cared for them all those years ago.  I happen to love the old Yamaha 250 as my first bike was a YDS250 back in 1964/5 in the Sacramento and Folsom Lake area.

I love seeing these old two strokes come back to life….ring a ding baby

I had a 1972 DT100. Beat the living hell out of it for at least 7 years and it never missed a lick! I don't think I even changed the oil. Just rode it all day long every day. LOVED that bike! I now have a 1972 TS185 to play with and relive my glory days.

Leave this old girl just as she is. Beautiful!

Love these old bikes. You can't beat a two stroke for flat out fun.

That's pretty cool. I really like the tank rubbed down to bare steel and you have his racing leathers that wore the paint off. That's some pretty romantic heritage.

Picked up a 49cc after watching you for a while. Sitting 27 years and started 4th kick.

I love the way you chaps over the water say 'carbuurayduer'. So much more creative than the actual pronunciation! Keep them videos coming, I'm loving every one here in good old Blighty.

This guy can get anything working, watched him free up a moto, with froze cylinder s, he beat them free with an old 2×4.  Amazing

Had a 49 GMC truck I got out of a field, clutch was stuck so my buddy uses a jack on the pumpkin and got it bout a foot off the ground as I was inside revving that old 6 with the 3on the tree in first gear. He dropped it and I left about 35' of black marks and magically the clutch worked perfect after that

I love seeing you work on all these old bikes of my youth. Brings back old memories.

What a cute little doggy 😊

Love it, your smile was priceless.  Old guy like me; this bike brings back memories of my friend's bikes.  In 1973 I had a street bike
