You deserve a medal my friend staying in these what can only described as dumps. We used to go to Blackpool every year but stopped a few years back. There needs to be more frequent checks by the council and places like this should be shut down.

Absolutely awful. 🤢The very least you’d expect from even the most basic place , regardless of price or condition, is that it’s clean. Great videos 👍🏻

Who on earth thought that room was an acceptable replacement. You literally went from an ensuite double quite clean and tidy crack den lol to a cess pit that I wouldn't put the fleas off a rat in to. Wow 😮great vlog Dan 😂

Thanks for the insite into this .  Being an Electrician and looking at the way the cables are , I wouldn't think that it would pass an Electrical safety check either.
The beds were disgusting.  I wonder how much the owner realises that these video's are harming their future business. Keep doing what you are doing.

For the state of those rooms I even think £25 a night is too much. Absolutely filthy, drug paraphernalia, unsafe microwave, sheets that aren't even clean 🤢 It feels like basic human rights aren't even covered in that price. I can imagine they're not under any pressure to keep it to any sort of standard as their usual clientele probably don't care what state it's in! I'm shocked that places like this are even allowed to run as a business honestly.

I love Blackpool but always stay at The Big Blue - not ridiculously priced and always clean and a fab breakfast.
But I am obsessed with youtube videos of dodgy Blackpool hotels! I'd never, ever stay in one, but it's amazing seeing what folk wil pay for such awful conditions.
Last October i was £59 a night at The Big Blue for 2 nights B&B for me and my son in a deluxe family room with park view!
I've subscribed for more ropey hotel content!

If all you are after is to be out of the weather and have a roof over your head for the night, what more  could you ask for. Awesome video once again mate, looking forward to the next one. 👍

EWwwww I'd of run for the hills if I saw all that hair in the 2nd room bed 😱  They definitely swapped u into a more crappy room, I'm not surprised u were cheesed off ☹️
Another fab video & I look forward to the next one. Take care xx

The Blackpool Hotel videos are the best! You could do a whole channel on these hotels, super entertaining. I live here and always wonder about these types of dives up in the town. Loving the content! (and the selection of cleaning gloves 🧤🧤)

New subscriber here from Manchester. Great attention to detail. Tje weighing scales was a bit of a shocker. Imagine if that place got raided? You maybe been nicked for them scales. 😮 Loved the honesty, not overly embellished. I do love Blackpool, loadsa fond memories.  About to binge watch your other videos now. Thanks for sharing

Wow Dan. I thought the roller on the bed was bad, but then when you did the carpet 😱🤮. As others have said, the first room was 5-star in comparison 😊

Don’t blame you Dan re the cleaning tackle, when our kids were small and we took them on caravan holidays, the first thing I used  to do was “ clean”  wash the cutlery and pots that we would be using also take the pillows off of the beds and put our own on, I can honestly say that we always left the caravans cleaner when we left than when we went in. Also even if that room was only £25 a night, it should have been fit for purpose, that as you say was “ minging”

I am disgusted with that room 🤢 Honestly, it's a small space and so cheap to refurbish. Absolutely NO excuse !! Lazy owners 😡

I'm so glad you do this, places like this need naming and shaming. It does not matter if you pay £10 a night or £100 a night, cleanliness is of paramount importance, and the homeless person argument is stupid, like I said you are a PAYING Guest you are paying money, not looking for some free shelter for the night.

Been looking forward to another video Dan, particularly a Blackpool one. Places like this need to take a look at themselves because I know I wouldn't like to stay there looking at this.

Try the lodge B&B in co-op Street lol 😂 now that is bad ...
The proprietor is so friendly....
But the B&B reminds me of Rising Damp ...
The BBC sitcom of the 1970s ....
Starring Leonard Rossiter lol 😂🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

You’ve Jumped Out Of Frying Into The Fire With Second Room . Unbelievable !!! 😳🤣🤣🤣

Every time you open the kettle at these places I always think "will he find any batteries in there" :p
as I remember from one of your earlier videos there was a triple A battery in the kettle. just the anticipation hahah

To be honest, i think the last room is about £25 worth. You were lucky to get the on-site for that to start with.
Years ago, we went to Blackpool (15 ish). we paid £45, basically for a bed a bit bigger than a single that was advertised as a double. We had to climb up the bed to get in it. You couldn't walk down the side of it, then had a space at the bottom, but you had to stand on the bed to close the door! We had to share a bathroom.
Got bitten to death, not sure if it was bed bugs or fleas.
Never been back since.

Thank you let again for suffering for our entertainment!  I love these video's 😂
