$1,200 a day at 10 days is only $12,000, not $56k.

$750/hr is absolutely absurd...I have work done by inkmaster contestants and have NEVER paid more than $250-$300/hr. I've talked to artists who do incredible work about getting pieces done and have been quoted $500 plus/hr and said no. I think tattoo prices in the US are nucking futs. Props to the artist for a beautiful piece, and props to that dude for having the $ to drop $60k on his back, but to me, NO tattoo is worth $750/hr.

If somebody couldn’t pay for their tattoo, even though I wouldn’t want to, I would call the police and have them charged for theft of service. Because they know damn well when they come in there if they have the money or not. Also, I wouldn’t give them their card back until they paid.
Pathetic.

If I was to pay $56,000 to get tatted, I would want my whole body done. To me that is pretty extreme. That was a nice piece of back art.

One thing i appreciate about this channel is they are not mean to people they are reacting to. So many tattoo artists are just mean and hateful when reacting online.

"That is what someone is willing to pay, that is what it is worth."

This is so true for a lot of things, artists, collectables, service. My mom use to be a consultant and booked out 3 months and when someone complained about her prices she always said she is paid what she is worth. My dad has always said a collectable is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If it is rare and "worth" a lot of money it actually is worth nothing if you cannot sell it.

so for the woman with tourette’s, i have a tic disorder/tardive dyskinesia

i understand an artist saying no. i respect the artist who said he’d say no since he doesn’t have the patiences. and obviously if the client signs a waiver and understands it’s a possibility, it’s on the client

for me, i can at least warn my artist/piercing that i’m about to tic or have a muscle jerk. so it’s not been a big issue for me. my tattoo has some lil wobbly lines but i knew it’d happen

for my piercings i could hold my tics off for long enough to get them done well.

16:59 that’s a $1000 tattoo in Bali 😂😂

@TPhillips-j7j 2 months ago

They totally were backtracking on the pricing. That's nuts... I can see that.

3:48 This has happened so much as someone who works for the government and in a customer facing job. “Lemme just transfer funds.” Like sir I have a line waiting!

The 9 yr old being tattooed happened in Yuma,AZ and the tattoo artist came under some scrutiny but for the most part ppl here in Yuma and in surrounding areas didnt really see anything wrong and even backed the artist! Tall about INSANE!🤦🏻‍♀️

Alot of the body shock are videos from places like bali and thailand. My mate literally just had both legs done at same time by 2 dif artists and even his tattooist in bali said to him that he is the 1st client in his shop to go into body shock twice during the sitting. Dnt know how people do it, 8 hours at a time enough when i get my ink.

56k....that was not 56k quality

Tourette woman tie her arm down and medications to reduce pain! Or I would say no.

It's not about being cheap, your a tattoo artiest (and yes art is culturally significant) but simmer down ur not curing cancer get over your self.

That tattoo was not worth 60k, I get that value was subjective but that is highway robbery. No tattoo is worth that, regardless of who's doing it.

9 year old asking for a trump tat sounds like the idea of an abusive parent.

If you're talking about brains not fully being developed that should mean you don't tat anyone under the age of 25, especially in males. Since our brains aren't fully developed until 25 & why most people regret their ink that they got when they were young. I'm sure most people that have job stopper tats wouldn't have gotten em in the first place unless they worked somewhere like a tattoo shop that wouldn't judge it as most professional work places do. 😂
