Today is my birthday and whilst I didn't get any presents this year, I felt like this would be the perfect time to upload the review to a train I really liked for once. Hope you enjoy it and thank you so much to everyone who contributed footage for this video! Oh and a saussage roll, a box of La Maison du Chocolat and an expired De Lijn bus ticket is up for grabs for the poor sod who can guess all the filming locations.

This train is basically a python snake slithering gasp of all trains via sound

rode a 373 at the end of august this year, it was bloody amazing. cruising at 186mph through the fr*nch countryside is just... beautiful. love the 373s to bits, they deserve a better fate.

Clearly the UK should have used Chaos Emeralds to power their power grid when this train was running.

11:18 That Welsh joke got me there and you’re right Eurostar can’t have multi language on the French side 😂.

Hurray, you managed to get one at last! Excellent video, and my favourite joke in this one was 'punishable by exile'. Thanks for making me laugh so much! And happy (very) belated birthday!

6:15 Motor sounds are personally much butter when they are in synch and not overlapping each other 😁

Happy Birthday Daniel :)

By the way, I have to agree, the traction motors are godly.

Happy birthday and thank you for blessing us with another awesome review!

I completely agree, the 373s are fantastic trains. I was fortunate enough to (accidentally) get allocated 373s on both ways when I went to the Netherlands, and since I hadn't travelled on them since before the pandemic, was blown away again by their comfort and style - I'd sort of forgotten how good they were. The ride quality is difficult to get over, at 125mph they still ride infinitely better than a Civity at 45. Hopefully they don't die a rapid death like the HST!

It seems we got a huge TMST or Class 373 lover here. Am I the only one who find the 373 hot in the GNER livery? It is indeed depressing that a lot of them died too young. However even tho these beautiful girls are godly. The TGV Sud Est holds for me the title ‘Best TGV’
