5 STARS DUDE ! ! ! You did a very OUTSTANDING VIDEO, my brother... PLEASE DO MORE VIDEOS ! Can you do a video on a TROY-BILT POWER WASHER, CARBRUATOR KIT REBUILD ??? and a 16inch McCulloch chainsaw carb rebuild kit video too???
Hey man! I have a 2021 Pony 42B. Issue I’m having is that whenever I’m going slightly up hill, the mower wont move, and I can watch the lower drive belt in the Variable Speed just not grab the engine pulley and it won’t move.. put it in high gear and it’ll move and eventually just stop going.
I’ve replaced the Variable Speed Pulley, the V Pulley, the Idler Pulley, the idler arm moves, the variable arm moves, I’ve also replaced all my belts with OEM Troy Bilt belts, and it still has this issue. I have inspected my Engine Drive Pulley, and it does seem pretty worn out, but man for only 3-4 years of use? It’s really weird and I just don’t know. I compared it with a pulley from a Intek 17.5 and the pulley material from mine does seem to be missing.
I’ve got 550$ worth of parts into it, everything OEM, and the only thing I can figure is my engine pulley is wore out and not giving the drive belt anything to grab onto, or the tensioner springs are shot. Can you please give me your advice any opinion? Thanks! My last step after replacing those is to just buy a whole new TransAxle, and I wanna avoid that if I can. The units only 4 years old, and I cut 4 acres of property twice a month with it.
I have a Troy-bolt TB30R-26J (2014) I can’t get it to go forward after release if the clutch, the engine just dies, but when I push the clutch back in the engine continues to run.
