Hi Lora. So nice to “see” you! ❤Thank you for sharing your finds from the doll show. Those Ginny dolls are really sweet and you found some nice project dolls too. I enjoyed seeing your tour of your doll collection. The little doll with the black hair in the wagon reminds me of the doll from the land of misfit toys in the Rudolph show! Your Armand Marseille antique doll is gorgeous. I love your girl of many lands. I think Helen Kish sculpted her face. Nice find! I have never seen a collection of Sasha dolls. How interesting!
I found her! Madame Alexander - Little Huggums, #4810 Cloth Body Baby Doll. That's the exact doll I had and still in the same little white sleeper printed with little flowers, mushrooms and even little frogs that I don't even remember. How funny!
Wow! This video has so much included in it. I hope that I don't forget what I want to comment on. Thank you for the mention and saying hi to me at the show. It was nice to meet you. You got some very nice dolls. I collected Madame Alexander dolls in the late 80s/early 90s. I have a couple of Ginny dolls so I enjoyed seeing yours. Where was the doll show that you went to in March? You got some great My Scene dolls. I bought all but one of those when they were originally released. I loved seeing your vintage collection. The first doll that I bought myself that I considered a collector doll was a Sasha doll. I was 12 years like you mentioned you were when you bought yourself that other doll in your collection.
I think you said Baby Huggins for the one you put in the washer and I'm pretty sure that's the same doll I used to have. I had her when I was a little girl and kept her until I knew that my daughter didn't really like her and I sold her or gave her away, now I don't remember. I love your Muffy van der Bear's outfit! I know I've told you that before, but she's so cute. My Muffy is wearing a bikini and has a beach towel with her name embroidered on it. I also used to have Madame Alexander Little Women Beth, but I gave her to my mom, as I think she appreciates her more than I do. And, of course, I LOVE your Sasha dolls. You have such an interesting collection of so many different types of dolls. Thanks for sharing!!
