Welcome to ‪@WeAreJazz‬, where Iran’s rich musical heritage meets contemporary jazz,. In this 1-hour Persian jazz  “Gole Sangam” (گل سنگم),  a lo-fi, minimalist jazz journey.

We heard you guys loud and clear! We know how much you loved our previous version of Gole Sangam. Sadly, the last video was taken down due to copyright restrictions regarding the original melody. But we couldn't leave you hanging! We totally respect the copyright holders and their rights.

We tried our absolute best to compose a brand new, original melody while keeping the exact same cozy, lo-fi jazz vibe from our last version. While it is a completely new piece, we kept the beautiful spirit of the original track close to our hearts throughout the process.
This version is now available on all streaming platforms, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your endless support and understanding! ✨

What does "Gole Sangam" (گل سنگم) mean?
Translating literally to "Stone Flower" (or Lichen), it is one of the most iconic, deeply emotional masterpiece melodies in Persian music history, famously immortalized by the legendary Hayedeh. The lyrics serve as a beautiful, bittersweet metaphor: a delicate flower that grows on a cold, hard stone, completely dependent on it for survival. It represents an intense, unbreakable devotion—expressing that without the beloved, one simply cannot exist. We wanted to honor that profound longing by wrapping it in a smooth, modern jazz atmosphere.
