Kudos to Princess Yachts for giving Nick and his audience the opportunity to learn what it takes to build a great yacht.

One of the few industries where the UK can still be considered a world leader.

And whilst Princess directly employ 3,300 people, the supply chains will employ an awful lot more.

I am quite simply put in superlative overload right now . The sheer scale of Princess's operations is staggering I could watch another two or three hours of this quite happily . A huge thank you to Princess for allowing you and us to have a look round . Nick you simply knock it out of the park with the fabulous content you bring us it really is a joy to watch your videos . Jolly good show that man long may you reign .

Was totally interested,  my son has been with Princess for 35 years , started as an apprentice and now is totally in charge of quality control for the whole company.  My daughter in law manages the whole line for the S72 .
So a big thankyou Nic .

You really couldn't have had a better guide. Just love his knowledge and quiet pride in what they do.

250 boats a year sounds insane considering the amount of work that goes into each boat and that they're Owner specific and made to order! This was fascinating. Looking forward to Part 2.

This video was absolutely mind boggling. This is the sort of thing you see on Nat Geo. I had no idea how big Princess are. Totally opened my eyes as to why boats are so expensive. Ross is a real credit to Princess. Can’t wait for part 2.

Perfect title. Indeed, if you compare the amount of work needed to build these yachts to, for example, building a house, you realize that they're not actually that expensive.

Now that's a proper shipyard. The amount of square footage is astounding. Love the old buildings and the history.

Nick, next time you're in contact with Princess make sure you mention how incredible Ross is. His knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing and enthusiasm for, and pride in, their yachts is phenomenal.

Nick, this is quite simply an honest to goodness "access all areas" tour. What a privilege to have made the tour with you. And how knowledgeable is Ross who showed you around?  Not only was he able to give the tour plus answer every question put to him, but he could identify every part being made and also the history of the shipyard. What an asset he is to Princess! Can't wait for the next episode.

Its quite a business. British craftmanship is cleary still very much alive and kicking. Looking forward to part II

I am 24 seconds into this video and I have already given it a 👍

Nice to see someone who enjoys their job

The scale of the operation has blown my mind! Just incredible, Ross knows everything!

Nick, as much as i love your yatch-tours, I have to say that this episode on Aquaholic is one of your finest. The level of dedication, craftsmanship, pride and quality that goes in to these boats are simply mindblowing. This is not just boatbulidning, this is a work of art.

Congratulations on your 1000th video

Seriously Princess… just give this guy a boat of your choice to suit him.. It wouldn’t even make a dent on your profit.. He deserves it

The Ropery and the history were the best part for me Nick. Fantastic!!

Nice to see some Focals in the customer greeting room👍
