When I was in Iraq I listened to this song every night before bed and thought about coming home to my wife. Thankfully I did.

RIP Brad Arnold 😢

i was married 35 years. we all think that at a certain point we just die but that isn't true. my wife and I were truly one but one day she fell ill and for 5 years I had to take care of her. she knew she was dying but all she wanted was to be at home. a constant routine of operations, then rehab then I brought her home until the next round. Since she passed away, I dream that I'm lost and searching, eventually she opens a door and asks me where I've been. this song really fits that and is quite emotional for me. I'm remarried to a wonderful woman but I can't talk about this with her for fear of making her think all my love is only for my first wife. Cherish what you have, you never know when it'll leave you.

One of the greatest power ballads of all-time! 😎🔥🤘🎸

As a musician songwriter and singer myself, I find myself endorsing 3 doors down stronger and stronger all the time because the lead singer is a fellow brother in Christ who does not deny Jesus Christ even though he sings in a secular band. Creed on the other hand, went out of their way to deny God to be cool and accepted by the status quo. I look for great songwriting strong vocals instrumentation and talent but if you stand up for the faith that's a huge Plus for me.

An emotional love song where a man really misses his beloved. I don't know what separated them .. a business trip or an argument. The song, performed very convincingly, made me think about my ex-girlfriends, do I miss them. No.. the only face I see belongs to my wife. Thanks for the song and reaction Joy-Jean 🌹

Prayers for Brad Arnold, y'all!

Crazy moment yesterday...I randomly heard a 3DD reaction during the afternoon and I hadn't heard a song of theirs for a number of years. I got to wondering what Brad Arnolds up to these days bc I always loved his vocals n he seemed like a really decent dude.

It wasn't but 3-4 hours later I'm checking my IG feed and read a story that he was canceling their summer tour bc he was diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoma. I literally hadn't thought about dude in a decade then as I was hoping homey was doing well the story was breaking of his cancer diagnosis. That ish rattled me.

And honestly my spirits were overjoyed when I found out Brad has dedicated his life to Christ. Went from bummed out to smiling ear to ear knowing that cancer is a speed bump and he will soon enough be freed from the suffering down here as his soul will spend eternity with Jesus!

Their first big gig was at a nightclub in Biloxi, Mississippi. To bring in their equipment, they were told to go around the building and it was the 3rd door down they could bring their equipment in.
That's where they got their name.
3 Doors Down.

Not bad for some Mississippi boys RIP Brad🙏

High-school flashbacks!

Hello from Nashville... You're right, this classic song never gets old. The lead vocalist lives near my area..

Empress Joy-Jean, and your viewers, here is the meaning behind this song from the lead singer and writer of the song.
Lead singer Brad Arnold says he wrote this song with his (now-ex) wife as inspiration. He didn't write it for her - there's a difference. He laughs when he talks about how wrong he was with his declaration of "when the last one falls, when all is said and done." But then, who can possibly predict the future?
"The song's just about being away from someone, or missing them," he clarifies. "And it really doesn't matter if you're here without them for all day or all month. It's just kind of about the lonely and missing of somebody, but people kind of take that sort of as a little bit of a sad song. And in a way, I kind of meant it as a happy song. And the reason being because it's talking about being here without you, but she's still with me in my dreams. 'And tonight, it's only you and me,' so the song was really just about that dream. And being in a state of peace, because you've got that person there with you in your sleep. And in that way I kind of meant for it to be a little bit of a happy song."

the vocals in this song are amazing........like you said...never gets old.....

i love this song but its very sad for me. I was married for 36 years and my wife and I we're truly one. We we're complete partners in every way. She passed away and still after 5 years I have dreams where Im lost in a city and searching everywhere to find where I belong, then suddenly a door opens and my wife says where have you been? As if I should still be with her.

Their music hits me dead center in the feels. It’s so real and he truly puts his heart into his music

This song is amazing sometimes I listen it.

A True Masterpiece...everything about this song flows...love it still
