“Piss on Dusty! Ric Flair was the champion of nothing! Mick Foley couldn’t draw flies if he was covered in shit!” — Ole Anderson

Ole was great . His schtick was sensational realism . His matches always made sense and so did his booking . He was very good at a slow reveal as evidenced by his turn against Dusty .

"Ole, what do you think about Ric Flair?"
"I hate the bastard."
"What do you think about Ricky Steamboat?"
"I hate the bastard."
"And how do you feel about Norman Q. Featherswinkle?"
"I hate that bastard."
"There actually is no such person as Norman Q. Featherswinkle."
"I still hate the bastard."

Bruce Hart's voice is putting me to fucking sleep. I love Ole. Great booker and I loved watching him wrestle when I was a kid.

Ole is one of the few wrestlers that’s always stuck to his principles. I respect that he’s never kissed McMahon ass.

Ole made 250k back in the early 70s?! That was insane money back then and even today nothing to sneeze at!
