You treat these iconic fragrances with so much respect. This is the kind of content we need thank you so much beautiful Dacob xx

Does anyone remember Exclamation?! I used to love that scent.

I think perfume can actually remind you of bygone times when someone walks past you wearing familiar perfume.

I'm an old lady. I was introduced to my all-time favorite perfume back in 1968 and I've been in love with it my whole life... White Shoulders by Evyan! I even collect vintage bottles when I can find them at good prices.

I remember when "Giorgio of Beverly Hills" was the ultimate fragrance that defined women of the late 80s-early 90s. Now it's fallen into drug store worthy but it still smells beautiful as ever.

Thank you for recognizing that many of us simply can not afford what we would like to at this time....maybe someday.

I will never forget the first Oscar de la Renta and Giorgio di Armani. Reminds me so much about the time when I met my husband. I love these - and the husband too....

I still use anais-anais, it's been one of my favourites for decades---- greetings from Greece!!

YES! Great video! You bring up some very good points that no one else is considering. As a woman of a certain age, I agree with you wholeheartedly that perfume is simply not what it used to be.

I miss Love’s Baby Soft 😢

My 80yo mil came to visit and had forgotten her perfume. I showed her my collection and told her she could have whatever she wanted. I think she took about 10 bottles. I was so happy she did! I have so much old perfume. I even have my mom’s 4711 from the 70s.

Anais anais was my daily perfume in the 90s . Might have to get one to take me back

You really understand the beauty of perfume, beyond trends or price points. Thank you for sharing inexpensive and unique options. We are so conditioned to overpay to smell like everyone else.

Once in early December, when Revlon's Unforgettable had just come out, I was in the drugstore with my mom and talked her into getting me a very small bottle. I don't think I've ever had more fun wearing a fragrance in my life. By the end of December, it was gone. Maybe it had to do with my young age, or just the magic of Christmas that year (probably 1990), but Unforgettable will always be unforgettable for me.

Does anyone remember Ombré Rose? Also, Inou by Shishedo? Two of my favorites from the 80’s.

Fantastic video, I agree with you! I feel the bar keeps going higher before £300 fragrance was expensive, now influencers are trying to normalize £800 perfume and £250 eyeshadow, no perfume or eyeshadow is worth it, let’s normalise good quality with normal prices.❤

I totally agree with you about Niche not truly being niche anymore! It’s a cash grab with these houses just pumping out garbage for the masses. Tik Tok ruins the beauty of anything remotely unique and special! It’s sad. You’re right that the old stuff is the new niche.

I love the fragrance of 4711. Anyone else?

This was enjoyable. I'm 63 now. When I was 23 I was madly in love with an older man, and living in Newport Beach, CA.. I would have sold my soul to the devil to have Georgio. He bought me some of it. Dusting powder too. He would take me to Bergdorf Goodman's in New York and buy me whatever I wanted. mong other dine places to travel..I also loved the Anis Anis, when I first started working when I was a young girl at 18. Thanks for the memories. I need to try the Oscar. I agree with you. People consume so much it's terrible..We need to learn to be happy with less clutter in our lives..

First of all I'm a 65 year old male and I happen to like fragrances of all kinds. The other day I was in a Department Store and saw the Chanel display so I thought I go over and take a sniff. They had a fragrance that I had never smelled before, I had heard of it but never smelled it. The Fragrance??? Coco Mademoiselle. When I was a boy my Mom would wear #5 and every so often she would give me a spray because I liked the scent. Anyway I bought a bottle and have worn it for the last 3 days, and have had no negative comments. As a matter of fact most people like it.
