i think i cried when Sonic realized everything including the Freedom Fighters were gone. He shed tears for verything that was lost. It hits an emotional cord that effects us somewhere i our own lives. TEARS :*(

Since #212, this comic has gotten better and better - even if the characters' situations have gotten progressively worse - it's rather nice seeing characters that have been neglected before getting some screen time, even if in this comic it seems to be involving emotional breakdowns. Nonetheless, can't wait to get this :D

It's quite possible this may (FINALLY) result in a Sonic 2006 adaptation. IGN did a recent interview with the editor of the comic, and during it we got a look at some concept art for Iblis.

Yes indeed. At least he can shed a few tears if not break down. Good job, Ian. Thank you for showing some emotion with Sonic.

Wow, Tracy's art and Matt's coloring mixes SO good together! I just love seeing this type of art for the comics~! It gives such a good Sonic vibe.

I know they can't, and they WILL get better. It's just that saying that stuff that's on my mind out loud helps calm my inner fan and nerves. Being a long time fan of the comics since #146 and long time Nicole fan since #151, and then seeing all that's happened recently can really get a fan like me worked up and upset. Just letting it out helps know what I mean? I still have faith in Ian, and you're right about the engage thing. Ian you evil genius. :P

Wow, that was a sad, emotional issue, even Sonic finally shed a tear

The one thing that baffles me slightly is why Tails is crying over Antoine's potential loss and says that he was "close" to him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Tails has no right to be sad about Antoine, but they never really knew each other that well throughout the comic for him to be crushed by this turn of events. In fact, I thought that Tails would be more upset that Sally, who was his surrogate aunt and was more of a loving guardian than his real parents, has been roboticized and is now fighting with Dr Eggman.

I know, dude, and thanks for pointing all of that out. Well, I just know that once Sonic Comic 236 and Sonic Universe 41 come out, the Secret Freedom Revolution will have begun and it is going to make everything right again in a way that is SO AWESOME.

My opinion is that Ian is doing a great job, he has you (and me) engaged enough to be anxious to see what happens next. Not all Sonic comics can be happy-go-lucky, I'm sure you would tire of them if they were. When things do start looking up, it's going to be that much sweeter

he's well written. he is insensitive because for him they are all like historical characters, but in the same time he has his heart at the right place : to save people.

it allows, in term of storytelling, Sonic to have someone to deal with it to blow his frustration,  it makes an interesting scene (essentially two positive characters but still having issues).
