Yo, when I made this fanart I didn't expect it to be on a tumbnail! Really humbled about that.
Whoever made the thumbnail could've just asked, I would've spent more time on rendering and sent them a clean highres version without the background. :)

UPD: Thank you all for your kind words! For some people who for some strange reasons thought I'm complaining, I'm not. I really appreciate that my art is used for one of my favorite Youtube channels. I just feel like my work is not good enough for a thumbnail, and I could've spent more time making it better. But if you guys like it that's good enough for me.

"In my restless dreams, I see that Dood..."

Playing this on release and finding out it was incredible was like seeing your favorite underdog sports team come back from a tragic loss and win the championship.

I never been so happy in being wrong about a game in my entire life

"If Leon and James fought, like in a Death Battle, the real question is...who would call the Spirit Bomb faster?"

Damn, Max making me think.

This remake is an AMAZING love letter to the OG.

The REALLY impressive part is the ATMOSPHERE! I was ALWAYS on my toes. Bloober team absolutely killed it, man.

The Comic Sans font signage is actually tucked inside the barn. The devs knew that PC players will catch that. Hahahaha

My husband once asked me when James was going to do a kickflip (as he saw a meme of James on a skateboard while Mary was dying before I forced him play the game). When I unintentionally guided him to get the “In Water” ending, not only did he like that ending more, but I told him James kickflipped as he wanted. Not in the way he expected, but a kickflip nonetheless. :)

There’s something so satisfying about continually hitting an enemy on the ground after you know it’s dead that just feels so good in this game. They nailed the tension and sound design before, during, and after enemy encounters.

Bloober really knows how to adapt character trauma to "modern" times. Just like the world we live in today 10/10.

FYI: Luke Roberts (James's VA) has worked on series and films like Band of Brothers, Black Sails, Game of Thrones, The Batman (2022) and others.

I have to say, the sound design in these games is absolutely premium. The atmosphere is absolutely next level.

Wonder if there is a tired and overworked dev from bloober watching these streams hearing these compliments with tears in their eyes. Take a well earned rest Bloober, the team deserves it.

31:49 This moment on stream was fantastic

46:15 “dudes aren’t dropping me any health or bullets”

As he proceeds to walk right past most health drinks and bullets.

Never change, Max.

Man, he's not really paying attention.  Ran right past that jukebox button.

The way James looks in the mirror before walking out is so emotional.
If your a returning player and know the story,
That one scene speaks volumes.

I like how this game changes enough stuff for the better to make things interesting while still making sure it stays faithful.

"drink that ketchup, James" is my favorite Max quote of 2024

The og left a good impression on him but he definitely hated the first half of it
