Swami-ji, awesome to see you back stateside!

You are my holy company Swami Medhananda ji 🙏

Swamiji, I am so so glad that you are back online, and back with THIS course. Have been waiting for months now!! Thank you!!

Happy to see you again

Pranaam Swami Medhananda ji 🙏

Jai Thakur Jai Ma Jai Swamiji 🙏

I'm very excited to begin this class again and to make use of the Google classroom, it will be very interesting to read responses from other students. I wish I could attend the livestream but I'm on the east coast and I'm usually wiped by 10pm 😴😄
I'm also hopeful that the other classes will be resumed eventually, I particularly enjoyed the Patanjali Yoga Sutra class and the Gospel class was great as well.

Hare Krishna

A lot of information on Shri Aravind Ghosh! Thank you very much! From biographies of many God realized Saints I know that they were always dispassionate of their body. They were beyond the physical existence. In fact, they always said that to stay in eternal Bliss, they have to give up body! For example, Saint Jnaneshwar gave up his body at the age of 22. He decided to sit in Nirvikalpa Samadhi forever in a cave. Before he went in, he asked Saint Namdev as well as his older brother Saint Nivritti Nath to close the cave opening by placing large rock once he sits inside. Shri Ramachandra immersed himself in river Sharayu to give up his body. I am stunned to know that God realized Shri Aravind Ghosh wanted to live forever.

Swamiji, Pranam 🙏 it is a pleasure to see you back. I certainly missed your passionate speaking and very much agree with your sense of justice and bias in media as mentioned about Pahalgam (which should be understood as a religious injustice perpetrated by Islamic terrorists against Hindus, and the media's coverage of it was certainly biased, whitewashed, and minimized. Islamophobia is a real phenomenon and is a tragedy against members of our beloved spiritual family, but when it is used as an excuse to avoid critical analysis, it becomes dishonest).

Please accept these words as support and appreciation for your efforts, as you are doing complex work that few could.

One point that I wish to respectfully add here is that exegesis and eisegesis are both still subjective determinations. Is it not possible that our biases themselves cause us to misunderstand Adi Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Madvacharya, etc., and that these same biases lead us to say that Sri Krishna provided only a partial harmonization of the different paths, whereas Sri Ramakrishna was the one who completed it? Is it really possible to separate the guru-shishya parampara as we too often try to do?

When we criticize Jnana-Rupa Bhakti by Shankaracharya, aren't we missing that Jnana and Bhakti are also non-different in essence?

I believe Thakur Himself shared these words: "That which is Brahman to the Jnani is Bhagavan to the Bhakta, and Atman to the Yogi."

Pranam 🙏.
Even if Sri Aurobindo didn't mention Sri Ramakrishna but his interpretation were similar to what Sri Ramakrishna explained, that means ,if Sri Aurobindo himself realizes what he explained in his Essay on Bhagwat Gita, it clearly prove that ,what Sri Ramakrishna explained is only the true interpretation of Upnisads and Bhagwat Gita.
This is again establishing truth of Sanatan Dharma and making it immortal!

What’s the class code for this class…

Why did the class end abruptly??

66 classes, 1hr each seems overwhelming. Is there a way to get to speed with this class quickly?
