Welcome to my pottery studio!
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to build a simple bowl using the slab method, then add a thin coil rim, and finally decorate it with the sgraffito technique — scoring, applying underglaze, and carving the design.

🔹 I’m using white ceramic clay, then mixing about 70% green stain + 30% transparent transfer with water to make the underglaze.
🔹 I’ll show you how to attach the coil rim, refine the inside, and prepare the piece for carving.
🔹 After the sgraffito is done, I apply a clear glaze and bisque-fire to showcase the carved design beautifully.
