I just love safety sandals

I half expected them to dump the finished glass containers back into the recycle pit.

This is what early industrialization looked like in the west.  When human labor was cheaper than equipment and safety was a luxury.

The glass guy must be getting paid by the hour, he dumps the glass on the ground, then scoops it up and puts it in the bin. Or, the ground has minerals in it that are used in the process. Now that makes sense.

Now their bragging about the lack of safety... I think they are reading the comments and not understanding. 😂

I thought those were science flasks...but the lower part of the bottle has been cut off. Probably turned into drinking glasses. Pretty cool.

I got a glass splinter between my toes watching this 😱

Have they ever thought of, I don't know, putting it into the bin?                                   Instead of just dumping it onto the floor.                                        I'm just spit balling here.                                        Give it a try.

This feels like the making of a saw movie

Only thing amazing is how unsafe their working conditions are

These guys have some rocks-no shoes, no safety glasses, no gloves, no masks- working around broken glass and hot furnaces in pajamas!  Yet they all look pretty, pretty healthy.  Keep recycling boys we need you!

I remember doing things like this in basic training, moving the drill sgt's rocks, then moving those rocks off the captain's dirt.

The amount of double handling is incredible. The standards in all plants are so low it’s mind boggling.

The dead eye stare hits me in the feels! 😅😢

This is blowing my mind I can't believe they're doing this entire operation standing up and not setting on the ground😂

Employees must be as disposable as a BIC lighter.

johnson and johnson should do a bandaid advertising there

All that glass has been cut! What up?

Nice big chunks mixed in there!

My favorite part is how they handle broken glass 4 times 🤣
