Love Joanna as Purdy!❤

Joanna Lumley was so hot, shame it only lasted a couple of seasons, it was great.. and one of her best roles.

I've often thought, to myself, if they ever brought back the Avengers that Purdy should play the John Steed like role of being the mature leader.

She was hot, but Diana Rigg as Emma Peel, was in a different league

Love how Purdey does something no-one else could and turns a trip through an automatic car wash into a shower!

She got free human carwash

Too Hammy NOT to Love ❤️ 😂 And You've Gotta Love Joanna Lumley ❤️

Watched the box set recently and remembered this scene from when it aired on TV.  I loved the one where London is asleep and Purdey has to run around in her silk pyjamas!  Sad that you poor old Gambit died so young.

These three were such tremendous actors and I love this programme

Gambit, Gareth Hunt, died at age 64.

It was all to protect a hand print on the roof of the car 😂😂

Our tv station only shows about 40 episodes with Diana Rigg over and over!

Possibly the best scene in the entire series.  Joanna Lumley was just as good as ANY of her predecessors.  Better than some.

Better than hairdresser.

Give me extra deluxe wash please

The guy (stuntman) with the awful wig was wearing a ring on left pinky finger around 0.30 then no ring at 1.00 then it's visible again at the end.

Corrrrrrr! what a beautiful  woman she is 😍.

Currently watching this episode in 2026. Just had to watch this scene again, brilliant lots of fun🤓

These Canadian episodes felt weird

Fabulous scene in a so so episode ❤
