It's amazing, you're a hero. I've been tormenting one 700-page book for the second month.

This is really fitting since I hit 20k yesterday at time of posting, thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy this long video!

mythical refresh pull

it’s awesome that you keep giving yourself insane reading challenges like you’re the mr. beast of books or smth

I think it'd be really cool to see a "recommending a book for each genre" video or maybe the opposite, "if you like x do NOT read y"

ONE HOUR? Life is beautiful

There’s something so refreshing about your takes, the way you get your point across is so REAL. Thank you for an hour of absolutely banger content!

it’s 5am and i might still be drunk but this video coming up on my feed has instantly improved my physical and mentak state

A MAN THAT READS…. LOVE TO SEE THIS

Also the public library = free knowledge ❤📚

This reminds me of the time I read 30 books in 30 days. I think I didn't read for a month or two afterwards 😅

Thank god you uploaded i need sth to watch in my night shift

this is insane dedication!!! so many book recs too!! i shall watch this on my plane ride . thank you GOAT

I actually gasped when you pulled out Otranto. I love it almost because it's so goofy. Not in the realm of Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters or anything, but I felt like Walpole was just having a bit of fun with Shakespearean tropes.

Everybody hype this scheiße three times

The lorefather has returned 📚📖

I adore this channel so much! Just finished reading 'The Queer Bookshelf: A Reader's Guide' by Layla McCay yesterday - a brilliant history and guide to reading queer literature with tons of recommendations and how positively impactful reading queer literature at a young age can be. I'm planning on reading 'Goodbye to Berlin' and 'A Single Man' by Christopher Isherwood as soon as my library reservations come in.

Yes. Talk to me about books 😌

You've given me a book addiction and no ond can fix me😅

I just started reading again last year and I've just been enjoying the books in a very shallow popcorn flick way. listening to you and Bookborn really started to change the way I interact with the literature. instead of just wondering how I would be in that scenario or just being a passive passenger, but really try to see things from each characters perspective and try to understand what is the actual point the author is trying to say. salute to you, love hearing you deep dive on books

The translation element of the Castle of Otranto is done on purpose. It wasn’t actually translated but Walpole wrote it as though it were! I recommend some readings on it if you are interested on its role in like canon/history— The Ghost of the Counterfeit by Jared Hogle is fantastic if there’s a non-paywalled version, I truly hope lol
