My employer retaliated against me for just reporting sexual harassment… And the kicker is I work at a law firm who specializes in sexual assault and abuse
First off you never send your complaint to HR! skip the whole authority game and go all the way to the top...corporate headquarters! you send the complainant via US mail.
I’ve got a case now for 3 of the reasons you have in this video. Employers think they can mistreat employees and if you get sick or need time off watch out! They will start scheming and deny you pay increases and try to get you to quit. Scandalous people!
I'm starting a claim now because in nyc they have manual labor law which dishwashers are supposed to pay me weekly. Before I told them it was law I asked them is it possible to get paid weekly and they refused with a iron fist .then when I showed them it's law my boss pulled me outside and tried to give me advances and told me not to tell any of my coworkers.and the kitchen manager said it's because the boss partner don't have all his paperwork to actually be here so they tried to shut me up ..but got me pissed because they want to enforce there rules everyday.but won't follow the law
Not to mention negligence (especially unsafe working conditions), mental cruelty/stress or nuisance (workplace bullying, verbal abuse/intimidation), sexual harassment (not getting upset over a joke overheard in the break room or other abused methods).
I will say this, if you sue an employer there is a possibility that you could face an even worse type of retaliation with virtually no recourse. I’m talking about getting placed on the Targeted Individual Program and many people are whistleblowers, activists, auditors etc, who get placed in the program. It’s a total violation of civil rights and unbelievable how the govt is getting away with such a crime against humanity.
My boss asked me to run away with him... Hes married. Took me completely by surprise. He purposely did this over the phone and so i have little to no proof. Then bc of course i say no and YOURE MARRIED!!!!! I lose my job after months of being belittling and absolute bullying. Now he wont give me my 1099, wrote me an email saying i was fire 2 weeks ago... And wont give me my commissions.. i need to get help for sure.
Thanks for this video.. I realized ive been retaliated against for speaking to my boss about wages etc. 5 1/2 years at the company and I have text and email evidence showing blatant lies and malice. Im gonna fight it.. Ive done too much for that company for them to fire me over lies.
I remember going to a law office that advertised all the time thinking I was going to get some assistance. When I got there, it was a mock up with absolutely no one there. Just a locked door with a sign on a weekday. Tried contacting the telephone number, no answer or voicemail. So I have to keep looking for a legitimate employment law office.
Payment in federal reserve notes is your own credit. Look for the bond traded on the global market, your employers bank bought or traded the first day you worked.
I'm taking them to court and suing there ass for stress and not paying me and trying to terminate me without me knowing and he finally emailed me saying I just fire myself and start the hiring Process over and I told him no I'm not going 2 do that it takes months for that he trying to cover his ass I got all the information I need to prove my case
I was employed by a Financial Advisor in Seattle. I was Registered, and did all of his production (business). Millions. He was abusive. I left without notice (common in Securities industry). To cover his embarrassment with clients, he told them he had fired me. That there was a theft lawsuit against me. But, not their money! I wanted to lodge a complaint with the NASD, but never did. Afraid he would sue me, because a couple of his clients followed me. Never forget that.
