Aussie here also, that was as powerful and as deep as the wonderful kiwis are. My deepest condolences to this great mans wife, children, parents and all our friends across the pond thinking of you all. Sending respect and gratitude for the life of this wonderful man.

By not stopping this video you showed respect to the process very impressed young man 🤗

You know how to hit people right in the feels. This bought this Aussie to tears. The utmost respect for our Kiwi brothers & sisters. R.I.P. Johan Lomu MNZM.

I don't know how anyone can watch a Funeral Haka and not cry.  (Especially at the schoolkids.)  I'm not at all a sentimental person but, because of the raw emotion that goes into it, my whole body & mind reacts and responds.. And when I saw his pall-bearers crying it got to me even more. Yeah I've heard of Jonah Lomu, of course, but I can't tell you anything more than that he was - and still is - a legend.  I cried for his wife and his children, his parents and his friends - I even cried for the doves who were released to spread his name far and wide with the message of peace, and knew that was a moment his children would never forget. I also cried because ALL New Zealanders have the Haka carved into their hearts with a respect and love which in many places around the world are considered a property of only one segment of their people: the black people, the white people, the brown people, the mixed race people. The Haka transcends these artificial, man-made boundaries and binds all people in the way in which Humanity should function: pure emotion which binds us all and makes no exceptions.
A woman whom I've never met, but who was the dear friend of a friend of mind, died 3 days ago and, as I watched this, I imagined how it would have comforted her husband, her family and my own friend had they been able to send her on her way with all the emotion they were forced, by Western standards (which I was not brought up with) to bury inside their hearts. So I also cried for them and for her.

Thank you, Strac.

now this is what i call a send off its so emotional and amazing

What an amazing send off for Jonah. A legendary All Blacks wing, one of rugby's first global superstars.

Jonah was such a gentle, softly spoken, humble man. He was kind & brave. RIP Beautiful Jonah.x

Respect son of another mother, ❤

Maori Haka is so beautiful and powerful. I would love to see it in person.

Strac   I adore  u.  U have so much respect and empathy for times when it's needed.
Your beautiful eyes looked so sad as u watched the final goodbye to the great legend of rugby,  thank u  xxxxx

RESPECT. A truly amazing rugby player and a caring gentleman who passed away far too soon.

I knew a friend of his (Jonah) and i broke the news to his friend he had passed, sad day,.

trust me, you did the right thing by not pausing, this is (and i know this is used a lot) but the g.o.a.t of rugby union. he was loved by his country and loved and also feared by his opposition. truly a great. and you showed total respect for doing what you did. and im not crying you are.

As a proud New Zealander watching this Haka brought me to tears. Jonah was a good and gentle man loved by everyone. Haka are so powerful meant to intimidate as well as a mark of respect. No wonder Maori were and still are such wonderful warriors.

I loved watching him play absolutely a champion rugby player man he was good RIP big fellow

Jonah was a machine. If he tried American football, they would have been scared of him. He didn't need helmet or body protection he was faster, harder and would take down anyone in his way and he would have extended his hand to say sorry "Bro" "you okay?" While he was making his way to getting the try.

Aussie as well here. He was the greatest ever

RIP JONAH . ❤❤❤❤❤

Sheeesh I know the passion from the little school kids got you big time

Crying here in California.
