I have to say, when I discovered the original way to wear a bobby pin, I made the switch. Omg, I will never go back!

You can see you're not feeling well here, whenever you filmed this. Thank you for continuing to make your content even when you're suffering with Mono. You've been a shining light for all of us during the pandemic, making us laugh all the time & helping us escape from the world for a bit & I know we appreciate it very much. Hope you feel better soon.

The cup lids are for stacking multiple drinks not for use as coasters!

I wear my Bobby pins like that 🤷🏼‍♀️

Since I heard about the bobby pins a few years ago, I've changed them with the wavy side downwards and work them better into the hair, and they do keep my hair up better that way.

I mean, the silica gel packets... literally tell you what they are for on the package: desiccant. They absorb moisture. :P

The silica package: Put them on your dashboard in the car. They also help to prevent fogging up the front window.

We used to wear our headphones like that - it had a purpose though, i swear!

Back in school when airpods didn't exist, we used to cut holes in the top corners of our school dress pockets (on the inside - we wear uniforms here in Australia) so we could hide our iPods on us. We would feed the wire up and put the earbud in that way with our hair down and as long as the music wasn't too loud we wouldn't get caught 😂😂

Even knowing the gas indicator thing, having the same car for 6 years, and every other car had it on the same side for the past 14 years, I've definitely had a brain dumb day where I turned off my car and immediately realized my error.

The silica packets are handy. I put them in my shoes so they don't get moldy (living in a very moist area).

I've never worn my Bobby pins wavy side up.....but I was taught to use them by my grandmothers......

@lucieboivigny7913 5 years ago

I used to wear bobby pins wave up but heard about that "trick" and they actually hold in place better with the wave down.

When I was doing competitive drag I learned very quickly that the heavier or stacked wigs were held better in place with the bobby pins wave side down. I do use them in a mixture though some flat surface down sometimes up, it just depends on what they are being used for (structure or style).

@brandimunguia 5 years ago

Yes Charlotte, the flat side of the bobby pin is supposed to be on top of the hair so you don’t have the end sticking up all weird. However, when you have fine hair, it doesn’t matter how you use them, they will slip anyway. So what I do is spray them with hairspray first, then apply them, waves side in, and once dried, they will not go anywhere.

I've always worn my Bobbie pins wavey side down 😅

The keyboard is arranged so that the least powerful fingers control the lesser used letters. As I learned on a manual it made sense. Side note, in typing class we wore a bib attached to the typewriter so we couldn’t see the keys. Sounds horrible, it was, but I certainly learned where the keys were. Later we would have music in the background to help keeping speed up, at first the music was slow and it became progressively quicker.
