Our Hokkaido Northern Region Trip Begins! 🚗✨
This time, we'll be traveling from Biei Town to Asahikawa and Higashikawa Town.
We'll visit Biei's popular "Blue Pond," and explore roadside stations and shrines, gradually making our way north.
And what left the biggest impression on us that day was a certain izakaya (Japanese pub) located right behind the roadside station "Higashikawa Michikusa-kan."
Not only was the food delicious, but the warm time spent with the owner and locals made it an unforgettable night 😊
Places and people we would never have met if we hadn't been traveling around the country visiting roadside stations.
"Visiting roadside stations connects you with all sorts of people."
This is what we felt once again at the start of our Northern Region trip.
