This has been the best Thorough video if seen on this primary

Advanced equipment helps your country minimize errors during the vehicle repair process.

Exactly what I have on my 2010 Ultra. But I have rounded the cap head Allen.
I just need space in the garage to have a go at this job.

I saw a video of a guy retightening the automatic tensioner by unplugging the spark plugs and hitting the starter a few times and it spun the gears briefly and he would measure the slack in the chain. Did it about two or three times and confirmed the chain was within tension spec and was good to go. Gave him the piece of mind everything was good before truly buttoning everything back up and adding fluids.

At 9:20 ... Epic.. You sure you're not Thor or Zeus?  As you tense up to undo the nut, thunder sounds to mark your struggle... That's my favorite part of the video.

Amazing video! You made it look so easy I am having to play in my shift Rod as well I addressed it in the front but I'm going to have to do this process for the back I think I'm also going to do the starter at the same time so I'll have good access thank you so much for doing this

I wasn't even necessarily searching for the information in your video. But once I started watching, the video was so informative and visually instructive I couldn't stop watching .I hope to give my bike the same level of work and care . thanks for the video.

Giving torque specs & size of wrenches is priceless. Great job Pal  !

Hi. Here in East Yorkshire in the UK I have a 2005 Road King Classic with same mileage and the same problem. Thanks for a clear and comprehensive go-to. Much obliged to you and many thanks from an old  biker. Regards D.W.

Please do a video on the cam tensioner replacement when the time comes. This is THE best how to video I've ever seen, thank you very much!

Have to say this is a great video.

It's a 9-year-old video, and it's still one of the best out there.
Although I would go ahead and upgrade the compensator and tensioner

his knee is the star of the show

this video is very informative i was able to adjust my clutch cable woth no issues now its time for me to reseal my primary and because of this video i will be able to and save myself about 800 in shop and labor costs plus the 100 just to get it in the shop. well done sir well done...

This video is great.  clear instructions, visual of important details, and no filler bs for most of the video. All straight to the point.  You did the rest of us a solid. Thanks. 💪🏽

This was such a good straight forward video, great job and thank you!

One of the things I will be investing is a bike jack...a good one.

Excellent Video!
I happened upon your video, after watching another repair video. I almost skipped it but your concise step by step explanation caused me to watch until the end. I’ve torn apart and rebuilt many car engines but as simple as it may sound I always worry about messing something up on my FLHTC, so it goes to HD for the “1K repairs. “
After watching your video I will look into the primary case next time I change the oil.
Thank you for an excellent video sir
Stay well and make more videos!

Compensator Nut use 13/16 1/2 drive socket with a 30" breaker bar. Came off pretty easy. When removing chain tensioner there are some spacers be careful not to lose them. Just some little details that may help. Great video!

I know this is an old video, but this is the best detailed video I’ve seen on any Harley Davidson primary removal and reassembly.  I was able to replace my compensator with the screaming eagle one on my 2010 Roadking last weekend based off this video.
