I am curious how Bali will be in 2036, 10 years from now......we shall see!! I hope all goes well. But....Bali will never be as it once was and this makes me so sad but also happy I was lucky to see how it was back in the 90's! lucky me!!!

Warung Dasa opend mid August when i was over there

Massage places

Bali needs more local brands like Secret Garden! ❤

In my place where I live, a hairdresser/barber costs (after conversion) for hair and beard cutting, IDR 750,000

We will be in Sanur on Tuesday Krishna with our grandchildren, hope to see you when we are there in Bali

Definitely don't need another shopping mall. That green space would be nice as a proper park

I am very glad that you remembered  me from the Hotel Jathi . I would like to catch up again in 3 weeks time.

What I would like is more local warungs in between restaurants. I never eat in the expensive restaurants and think more warungs spaced all along the beach path

Laghawa iits the oldest villas hotel running by the same family sanur very traditional balanise and not a bad price I was there last yr in Sanur and from there to my Ubud @ Ibah villas my 2nd 🏡 I miss it 😢 👍😎… thanks Krisna while walking you said was 8 am but California was Friday night @ 5 pm…

Celuk! I went to school with Ibu Suartis daughter and she now runs the jewlery business but uses the name TULOLA (after her daughter). small world, she also mentioned CELUK to me many times regards her silver work.

October Aussie school Holidays it will be a bit more busy!

In Bed sleeping !

Four years  there has been a top end Chinese Restaurant opposite the Hyatt and Andaz. I have heard a rumour that the land has been sold for residential housing Who noes?

Sanur need more shopping centres, nightclubs, hotels and waterparks

Sanur has everything 3 times over and I hope they keep the greenery but if there's money to be made it will be gone.
Regarding hair cuts, for women I had the best cut in my life just down from Swastika for $10. Wish I could remember the name, the lovely talented ladies are from East Timor. In Perth it costs $40+ and it's mediocre at best.
My favourite coffee place is Kopi Cafe and they give you a "free" Anzac bickie.
I always stay at Swastika Bungalows which is bit of a hidden gem. There are rooms suiting every budget, three beautiful pools and gorgeous gardens. Nopi at the swim-up bar is a legend and all the staff there are wonderful, it is like a big family. Very clean too.
The worst part about Bali is leaving. I get a bit emotional leaving all the locals' smiling faces, the food, massages and the relaxed vibe.
I bring cat and dog food  (It's cheaper in Australia) to feed the strays, though during Covid many perished from starvation. BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association) and BARC (Bali Animal Rescue Centre) are wonderful for any animal issues.
It's great to see the recycling bins, hoping the system works and it's not just for looks and feel-good factor.
Thank you again Krisna! ❤
