After reaching Nubra Valley, the Ladakh journey continues towards one of the most iconic places in the region — Diskit Monastery and the massive 106-ft Maitreya Buddha.
After refuelling the Kia Seltos in Nubra Valley, I begin the uphill drive towards Diskit Monastery, surrounded by the incredible mountains and landscapes of Nubra.
The highlight of this episode is reaching the famous Maitreya Buddha overlooking the Nubra Valley — an unforgettable sight and another special moment of my solo Ladakh road trip.
This episode ends at Diskit, but the journey doesn't stop here.
