"I lose you either way. I'd rather lose you and have you still be alive."
That line hit me like a truck because oh my gods, it is so powerful and gut-wrenching to see Carina having to forcefully admit Maya and watching them be torn apart because of the abuse Maya suffered for so long. Both these characters are spectacular and I give props to both the actors for ther brilliant portrayal.

the way i NEED maya and carina to be another version of ben and bailey, or derek and meredith... no more issues, no divorce, just happy, healthy sapphic marriage. that's all i ask

Carina's love for Maya is really genuine. I wouldn't be able to put up with so much nastiness.

The fact that it was teddy that made them get back together speaks unbelievable healing. She lost her love, but she fixed another

The background music DOES NOT overpower the audio of the tv show. A rare occurrence in the YouTube world lol. Thank you.

You mean to tell me the entirety of their scenes fit into 1hr 30 minutes when I feel like I have quite literally shared a lifetime with them. 😢❤

the way she says "I lose you either way Bella, I rather lose you and have you be alive"

This is what true love is. Carina never stopped caring for Maya, who is stubborn, dedicated, and a broken firefighter. Even when Maya would push her away, eventually she would come around to her, and when she finally confronts her trauma, she realizes how incredible Carina is to her, and that they'll both be great mothers in the future. This quote from Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting really is what Maya needs to hear: "You'll have bad times, but that'll always wake you up to the good stuff that you weren't paying attention to."

Using the same words...I'm in awe of the character growth of Maya Bishop, what an inspiring woman she has become and a powerful message of such growth!

seeing Mya get better at communication is the best part of this whole video

12:33 Maya blew my breath away here, when she spoke about her demons coming to eat her up and how she has to fight them off, how she has to fight off the years of built-in trauma her father inflicted on her.

Every time maya is upset with carine it's a threat to their relationship and she breaks it off, but when it's carina that is upset she tries to talk maya through her feelings and takes a ton of crap and toxicity from maya. And still carina comes back cause she loves her so much... kinda breaks me heart.
