Dude.... It's not just the slams we remember.... We remember all the unbelievable gnar and skill and speed. Your are much loved

heath ur sight unseen part is unmatched by far to this day

A freaking root canal, and then trying grind that on the same day. What an absolute monster

You inspired thousands of kids to persevere through pain, so they can be better at their passion. It’s a pretty noble sacrifice.

One of the best ever. Period.

That kickflip is one of the gnarliest slams I’ve ever seen, I still remember rewinding Anthology over and over again. Heath is one of the greats.

Heath was and is so gnarly. The gnarliest slams, were always followed by the most mind blowing makes. I always remember him and Rowley taking the heaviest slams and going back for more

Hey Heath. Just want to say as somebody who tried to pick up skateboarding in his 50s. I know you and your fans had a very high standard of your skills. Like you said, people are judging you on your failures but obviously you had to have a lot of success to be in the position you were. Hope you remember more of your success rather than your failures. And I as an older individual.  Hope you’re taking care of your health, which is more important in the long run. Wishing you the best, and a lot of respect!

Every time I think about skateboarding i think about this lad

Heath you are a legend and will forever be a legend. This man pushed skateboarding back in the day and was way ahead of his time. 🤘 Thank you.

heath kirchart its the pro skater that i look up the most. i even got in to ridin motorcycles and never stop riding.

It wasnt just the slam, but that slam was legendary. The kickflip that is.

the kickflip attempts from the end of interface shaped my childhood

This is Skateboarding was my first video. Watched it with my dad, who wanted to make sure the video was "appropriate" for me at my young age lol. After wanting to turn it off for the F-bomb the security guard hurled at Heath in the intro, I remember my dad rewinding the slam on the 20-stair hubba a few times, cause he thought it was so gnarly lmao. That slam literally saved the day!

That animation really brought a special element of visual enhancement to the stories. Heath is such a legend and chose great songs for his parts, especially atmosphere,  not to mention skateboarding skill at the highest possible level. Gracias muchisimo!

Slams where crazy but your skateboarding is what i remember. Your nose grinds where so perfect i learned them from watching you.

People talk about the slams and bails because it shows your perseverance. It shows what you are willing to put yourself through and we appreciate you and your video parts. The fact you didn't quit after any one of these injuries speaks to your character and the character of skateboarders as a whole, you may fall, but you get back up, dust yourself off and go again !

I always saw him slam and just thought goddamn this guy has a ton of grit. Always perceived as one of the toughest pros. Its pure respect

Total respect for those pro´s. Kirchart is a legend.

Heath Kirchart stating that he is not very good at skateboarding equals Primus stating that they suck!
